  1. so honeymouns knows exactly who did it spill the tea pls
  2. With the sound analysis - loved it! Few points to add: Lana and her producers have always been a fan of the Mellotron (and so am I) but Jack in particular seems to love the Mellotron french horns - aka the intro of Love Song, HTD, used prolifically in Venice, California etc, that is what THAT sound is (personally I love it and how warm and tacky it sounds) Love the synth glissando and the brass in the title track and how the opening strings are exactly the same as what plays in the chorus Increased bass and synths in the outro of FIILY are incredible Love subtle changes in vocal processing ie. reverb, delay, doubling on Love Song and the harmonies in MAC Mixing is too loud on HTD and don't like dynamic changes but can see they were intentional California is pretty flat and the vocals could have been better, could have been more rocky, less repetitive etc The Greatest is one of my fave songs ever even though it's a bit anticlimatic - also don't really hear the strings, flute and horns that are credited, interesting vocal crack/flutter on greaaaaaaaaatest. Love the use of octave vocal doubling in this track and how the last chorus has more guitar The "dance" in HIAB after the chorus is out of time with the main vocal line and the guitar swells are nice if not a bit overbearing at times Overall love this album sonically but it could have been cleaner and would have liked more bridges
  3. HIAB is better but only slightly I can get into technical stuff if you want
  4. On another note I really want her to release the 2 country songs she sang at the Ally Coalition - beautiful melodies and lyrics
  5. Did not expect that cop chase scene to devolve into a food fight ugh her mind
  6. Does anyone have a mix with the masters account? There's a new film out where Jack explains how he produced and mixed a few of the songs on NFR which would be really interesting to see
  7. Do we think she'll change up the setlist for the EU/UK leg? Extend the setlist? More NFR? I doubt it
  8. Bit frustrating when she only sings 10 of her songs in full
  9. According to Apple Music replay I've listened to NFR 470 times eye- how is that possible?
  10. actually bored of the born to die tour part 2 feat white mustang this is the NFR! tour !! why is the set so short?/
  11. one rule for them another rule for the rest of us
  12. Really excited to see where Lana goes both thematically and sonically with this record - more introspective and reflective? happier? sadder? in the vein of NFR? folk/country? jazz?
  13. unpopular opinion I really love Jack and I think he did a great job with NFR very excited to hear what's to come
  14. Lana should work with Rick Rubin again, I mean he's an iconic producer and produced one of her best songs, Ride. Find it unusual all the different producers and musicians she worked with years ago whereas on her past few records she's worked with one or two people
  15. these are NOT the lyrics wut is this
  16. oh yes Cinnamon Girl samples a Bleachers song https://www.reddit.com/r/lanadelrey/comments/cxj3zw/cinnamon_girl_outro_samples_jack_antonoffs_band/
  17. What's the specific instrument/synth that jack loves to use on this record? Specifically at the start of Love Song, it's also in VB, California, CG, HTD
  18. I doubt she'll drag Sean and Adam over to Europe for the UK and EU leg, so hopefully the band will have learnt more NFR material by then
  19. Lana swap Bartender for the Greatest and White Mustang for Cinnamon or Brooklyn Baby challenge
