Longevity for someone of her calibre. Most artists nowadays are made to last 3 albums and then fade. Lana's proved with 4 top 10 releases in the US and 3 top 3 albums that she's got more longevity than most artists nowadays.

It's bizarre I need to agree. I seen fans from other fandoms outside Lanadom who will see the same celebrity over dozens of times, and ask to take pictures with them each time they see them. Isn't one photo enough? It's very creepy.
 
I feel sorry for Lana, I hope that this doesn't scare her off completely from fans as not all fans are crazy. Like I said before, she needs better security and live in a type of gated community. I know if I were in her shoes, I would have left the music business, closed all my social media accounts and live the rest of my days in a nice peaceful place. I don't have the thick skin she has for all this. I would never want to be a celebrity.

Just hearing more and more about these two people and how they've meet other famous people... Kinda reminds me of Stalker Sarah, but at least she doesn't have the dangerous, entitled attitude of these girls (I think).
 
I just don't understand this mentality of seeking out famous people to meet them and take photos with them. Do you not have other aspirations in life?? Are there not any other things you'd like to achieve? Skills you'd like to have or improve upon?? It's bizarre and just really sad to me.

Sometimes I wonder if anyone here ever heard of John Lennon or Versace or Dr. King or JFK or RFK or Allard Lowenstein (good example), or Sharon Tate and the now weekly/montly mass events that are not political, and see that threads like this one and the other similar one should be deleted

Getting attention is what nutjobs or those with agendas are what they want.

If you're insinuating that just because people get overemotional at concerts then that has a correlation to the two girls stalking her then you're simple minded. The recent stalkers/home invaders are clearly mentally fragile and need to be imprisoned for this, not overly generalizing actual fans who just idolize Lana and can healthily go about their day without harassing her.
 
Lana is not going to stop her source of income due to a handful of mentally unstable people. If that were the case then literally half of the artists in the industry wouldn't be touring. She needs real security, to move the fuck out of her house and into somewhere outside of LA/in that area, etc. in order to take steps to make herself safer.

You couldn't pay me to be a celebrity tbh. What good is money and lavish lifestyles if you are constantly bombarded and have no privacy whatsoever? Not about that kind of life.

Those fans... Put them in jail or on a psychitric institution (or send them back to russia)

I honestly think all this shit is stemming from how down to earth Lana is with her fans, who are taking advantage of that. I find this absolutely repulsive because her friendliness towards her fans is one of the things I admire most about Lana and for people to start taking advantage of that to literally commit crimes is fucking repulsive.
 
I'm scared that Lana's going to stop being so down to Earth about these things. It pains me to see how scared she is, she won't even tweet/instagram about any of this happening, probably because she doesn't want to bring attention to this.

All that we're trying to say is that Lana really should take SOME level of responsibility for all of this happening. She did show her entire house in a video so it is partly her fault... considering how obsessive her fanbase can be, surely she anticipated something like this would happen.

It isn't ironic how these things happened when the bad side of fame became such an important issue in her music? Lana talks about a story about feeling like someone is stalking in her own house, recorded a video about the same issue and ended up being stalked and stolen. Life really imitates art after all

As absolutely horrible, disgusting and invasive that this is, she shouldn't show the exterior of her home, and extreme long shots of her house and the road and beach. She basically told everyone exactly where she lived?
