so miss jack and lana have been in studio since at least february (that's when we got the video of her being high and making weird noises in his studio) now they posted about each other.. this is exciting i hope they're not just teasing something that ain't coming sometime soon.

Take off, take off Take off all of your clothes They say only the good die young That just ain't right 'Cause we're having too much fun Too much fun tonight, yeah
-
we don't need to divide the discussion about basically the same thing into two different threads though

just remember whatever lana puts out she is part of the process so if you dislike it it's not jack's fault but lana's as well
-
uhm no love is one of the best songs on lfl and no she's not posting because she's depressed i read that on lb some months ago and tbh i think it's true.
-
i swear if she'll still manage to serve us the same lukewarm breathy moaning over 5 minute long tracks for the 3rd time even after working with miss jack then she's over. talent burned out, sucked dry.
-
apparently lana's also the visual director for the opening credits, do you guys think she's gonna use the footage from the scrapped music video of that horror movie vibe song she made between hm and lfl?
-
it's obviously real?
-
she'll scream and moan over the ahs theme
-
they shouldn't have announces it so everyone would have had a meltdown when watching the episode
-
why do yall want an album based on get free do u want her to become a radiohead tribute act?

“We know there is a growing interest in the music industry. We do think that there is a favorable momentum and the process that we are getting into is really to be able to crystallize the Universal Music Group's value in that context; and also to find the right partner of right partners to be able to accelerate this trend in the best possible way for Universal Music, for Vivendi and for all its shareholders.” Looking at the company’s results, it will have a good story to tell potential suitors. In the first six months of the year ended June 30, the Universal Music Group say revenue grew 6.8% on a constant currency basis. stan talent and success stream one kiss now!

that's not what's happening. it's more like umg with labels like interscope etc is owned by a parent company and said parent company is selling half of their ownership over the whole thing so as a result of that they're not the sole owner of the universal music group but none of that means lana's gonna change labels. so universal isn't selling anything, someone is selling up to half of universal.

lmao how can you say honeymoon is perfection and flawless and then try blaming rick for lfl well nvmd lfl should have been the rick, emile, max martin infused and benny flavoured bop album that love and lfl made it seem to be at the beginning.

Lana on working on BTD during UV era: (since half of yall think she hates that record for some reason). "So I got signed on great terms because the discussions we were having were that it was always going to be my way. I liked coming from this DIY place where if I had a single that they really felt like they wanted to put money behind or promote—I liked knowing it was an option that I could make my own video at home for it, like I did with “Video Games.” Eventually I tired of that, graduated to working with other people. But in that way I was in a really good place after the record was done with its cycle." Lana on the deluxe tracks on UV, yes only UV: "I think the label was half-and-half on this record [ultraviolence] because there were a lot of jazz undertones and West Coast references. I think they were happy that I was happy with it and that I made it. I don’t think they felt like there were singles that could work at radio. ......[And I kind of felt that, because I have such a good relationship with Jimmy and Ferdy. I’ve been working, “working” [makes air quotes], singing, for years. So the people I’m closest with are like my product manager and the video commissioner, because they’re really good girls. The A&R guys—Larry Jackson and John, if I go out at night I probably go out with them.]...... We’re pretty flexible with each other, but it always come down to differences. For example, the bonus tracks on this record [this is about UV] I didn’t feel like had any relation to the atmosphere of the record itself. I think iTunes was like, “You would have trouble promoting a record if it didn’t have a deluxe edition,” so, there’s stuff like that." I can't find the interview she talked about without you as an album closer but yeah nevermind the quote is still very different from what people on here constantly say and considering that she seems to like performing BTD bonus tracks i'm pretty sure she's alright with them and the concept as long as it makes sense. (Well it would have made sense on lfl because that record is suuuper long but well yeah.)

you know.. she could always do a 12 track album for the critics and then give us some additional tracks on the deluxe but we know her fans hate getting extra tracks unless they leak just in time to sabotage the whole album campaign so..
