working on something just before the deadline literally is the definition of rushing ur work

rushed does not mean recording everything within a short time period, she didn't write all songs within those two weeks in the first place, there were pretty much existing songs already. just as much as working on something for long won't make lfl less rushed. the fact that lfl was rushed is because she was still hitting up the studio, writing songs, recording songs etc. when she already had some sort of deadline and when she already launched the whole project months before? i'm pretty sure she'd manage to make the album sound cohesive if she wanted to, she did it with uv when she rearranged some songs and she did it with btd which is comprised of songs written within a longer timespan than lfl.

she did not rush uv or hm, and wanting to change the tracklist 3 months before the release and after the lead single was out is the definition of rushed/not well planned/mess. why so yall always believe these twitter rumours

i want lana to give me an etruscan inspired record. i think it‘s obvious she‘s gonna go in that direction anyway so she might as well do it for ldr6! i want those ancient sounds but in a modern retrospective way. i want to feel the summer heat of tuscany and the peace and quiet of ancient temples. I want lana to make the album in the same vain as the etruscans transformed vulcanic stone into statues with these eery and oddly satisfying faces. Salvatore was the perfect introduction into the soundscape of italy and i feel that now, after la to the moon and having toured milan and rome, she's ready to dive in deeper than before. Alternatively i think she could go for an alaskan feel. Icy and cold, mixing an almost björk like avant garde sound with Lana‘s passion for native reservations and modern rap. But i feel like that can wait for a few more years.
