okay this is all really off topic but comparing lana to kanye is kind of a stretch no matter what, lana’s lying lies more along the lines of gaga, madonna, a lot of other artists out there, meanwhile kanye’s behaviour ventures into azealia banks territory was lana playing into some things during her early days? most likely? was she faking an entire personality? most likely not and that speaking voice things is so weird lmao some of u should watch these madonna interviews/voice through the years videos or this one i found of gaga and compare 2:20 to 5:25 for example

i was actually reading a 2012 interview the other day and she said she doesn’t have a persona back then as well, queen of staying consistent

anyway let us just report for impersonation and don’t engage with their tweets because that’s gonna promote their account

well now she’s getting dragged again whelp she better cover and rewrite piece of me for her chem trails tour

it was target* but i don't think it was real, i think she hasn't been on twitter for quite a while now

i really hope she's taking a social media cleanse atm bc that's what she really needs (and then some sort of re-managing of her accounts)

the only good post she could do is something along the lines of gaga or bella hadid because if she tries to pull her own words into this it'll easily end up a nightmare for her any everyone involved for multiple reasons (unless she obviously does a very educated post but i also doubt she'd be able to do that for multiple similar reasons) she doesn't even get what feminism is or doesn't know how to define it for herself when she use that word in her posts, i honestly doubt she gets what BLM is about except for the obvious "goal" that is even kinda mentioned in the name of the movement. i don't think her current LA friends help for that matter, they're all kinda not giving me the brightest candles on the cake kinda vibes. which i mean.. fair enough but yeah she probably isn't surrounded by that many people who care about these issues on more than surface level, even the women's march? did her friends go (i honestly don't know but it wouldn't surprise me either way tbh)? we know chuck went and lana posted about it (which was also "controversial" even though it wasn't particularly bad or good for that sake) but chuck is probably much more involved in political activism than all of her cali-based baddies. additionally whenever she speaks up (about anything really it doesn't need to be that much of a big cause or a political issue ) I've noticed that she uses really weird language "sorry for speaking up" "i'm not claiming to be a politician - sorry for having an opinion" etc. it makes me think about how she has some sort of weirdly warped perception about speaking up maybe she wasn't around people who talk about these things much? idk, it's all guessing but i've noticed it and i did find it odd at that time and she just keeps saying things like that so it's really weird.

i'm surprised so many people have received their signed bundles already, mine got shipped yesterday so i might get it tomorrow depending on how fast they'd actually send it out and didn't just print the label for it. I'm gonna have to listen to the album a few more times before i can actually form an opinion on it, i'm kinda surprised it sounds very homogenous to me (at least for now) her pre-joanne pop albums kinda served eclectic variations in sound here and there

i fell like we'd probably have gotten something by now if her own post hadn't have happened a few days ago. i mean we kinda got Looking For America last time so yeah DON'T

i keep seeing this but it makes little sense to me in regard to the fact that most of us lana stans agree on how the actual message she wanted to put across was completely overshadowed by a misfortune not well thought out chapter that made some people think she was trying to bring down other successful female artist to put her point across and victimise herself as the only victim of today's critique on alt female artist and that she had no space in feminism next to these powerful (poc) women. if her original emotions and thoughts aren't conveyed well enough for people to understand what she's trying to say and other side-bits of the message (like the name dropping) and incoherent bullet points she made within the text completely derail the point she was trying to make it doesn't show integrity it just shows that nobody actually listened to what she wanted to communicate through her note but rather focused on a lot of other things that could have been implied within her text. a team helping her edit, write and spell out these thoughts would prevent that from happening because she'd actually get her point across without having to deal with this entire reaction that she did not mean to cause with her first original text she's posted. this wouldn't save her from all criticism ever but it would definitely help to prevent unnecessary drama which this entire thing definitely is!! and it wouldn't take away an ounce of her identity

the way not even her releasing / announcing music makes people tweet as much about her than this lana really knows how to bring up topics and stir debates nobody thought they'd be having in these past few days the sheer incompetence of her to just stop talking for once

because the point lana is/was trying to make is/was like 5 different things that she's kinda mashed together and then started talking about something new yet again when she made that second post and video as a follow-up to that mess as people have said she really needs to let these things run through some sort of editing room or team before putting them out because she's been serving clunky delivery and messy thoughts which doesn't help her in this case at all and that "messy" stupidity and ignorance doesn't take away any responsibility from her (many) statements we've got in these past 4 days which have all spiraled away from the initial thoughts/or emotions (i guess) she was trying to put across. and yet here i am still shocked at her not understanding this after all we've been through and yet making the same mistake again

i think lana should just stop naming people for a while unless she stans them like she did with cat power, ari or the weeknd nnnn

as i said i tried looking that up and i couldn't find one single update account talking about that and they're usually quick with those "bigger" acts she follows (and i did find them talking about her following her twitter which she still does) so it's all a bit confusing

there is still no indication Lana and Ari had any sort of fallout or otherwise someone please let me know as i've said here before

she was literally bopping to Ari's music and live videos before her own shows and probably at home too she obviously genuinely likes Ari's music

i did some digging on this because the entire situation is so confusing, Ari still follows Lana on instagram, Lana still follows Ari on twitter and that random Ari fan account on instagram and i cannot find any receipts about how Lana ever followed Ari on instagram in the first place (only about how she followed that stan account). If Ari was so mad at lana that she dm'nd her something bad then she surely would have unfollowed her first (or at least she would have unfollowed her at some point) if someone has any proof that she actually followed her on instagram it would bring some clarity to this.

i have zero capacity to deal with this project already ...

the album is still doing really great though it's gonna need a new single or smth at some point though because they can't feed us the regular lil period of times where she'd be promoting a single bc like there are no proper performances, events, interviews she can do.. or well they are but they are all very low-hype-energy because it's all #stayathome #webcamlockdown content (which is not her fault) so that's why i think they're trying to push and decide the next single already (apparently levitating or hallucinate and love again for the uk or something) if the rumours are true.

maybe she invested her time off from instagram into learning about dvd rips and pirating

yas lana lock that typewriter away at least for the end of the month (and then ... some additional weeks) do it for yourself do it for the culture do it for the gays
