  1. The HM single cover was a classic - TLY on the other hand...
  2. She's pretending there's an album yet again
  3. The new songs sound like a continuation of youth novels but more beat driven, I like it
  4. The other woman is beautiful and her second best closer
  5. Lol so I'm guessing nothing happened in Madrid truly another Mexico 2016 situation
  6. Why is I Will the best song on NTMT
  7. Lol who said get free is a happy song? It's melancholic at best, searching for a lightness and making sense of her journey to where she is now. The production, lyrics - its all brilliant. Get Free is not what I'm talking about And you're quoting lana as if I wouldn't leave if I didn't like her new direction... Nobody is under any compulsion to stay? You are allowed to have opinions on her sound, that's not hating my problem isn't with her being happy, how could that even be an issue? It's the new blandness that's manifested in her But we'll see how she takes things. I know she won't disappoint, and I have hope that she'll give us something extraordinary like she always does
  8. It's because her recent happier songs have been sooo dry and annoyingly weak, and HIAB rubs me the wrong way because it's her... singing solely about happiness? In what seems to be (from the 30 sec snippet) a pretty uninspired and cliché manner I think it's also because we've just heard Lana dance around the topic of happiness SO often since Love debuted - in every interview; that wide, manufactured smile on the LFL cover; her lyricism and newfound obsession with doing a complete 180 on her previous ideas (like censoring herself to be a positive influence). It's just boring now. There's more to dwell on than happiness you know And it's not to say that she didn't do the same with her sad songs - she's sung directly about sadness on many songs (e.g literally sad girl) BUT she imo executed those songs much better because they carried her persona, aesthetics, and had interesting production She did say that being on a more positive level will elevate her creativity, so what I'm hoping for from LDR6 is something unexpected again, a sonic and visual divergence on the same magnitude as BTD>UV, and not songs that are incredibly bland in their meaning and mood
  9. Yea i hated maternal lana ever since love came out, and I remember posting (after I gave in and listened to it) about how BAR was reassuring because it sounded more selfish and traditional lana, so I thought that the rest of the album would also carry that and love was just the anomaly Fast forward 13 months and she's teased a song called happiness is a butterfly which mentions her babies on tourlyfe (and for that I blame the entourage of gays that followed her to every show)

    The album is brilliant
  11. To think, she most likely has a working title for the new album, an envisioned aesthetic, an idea for a video, at least one fully produced track sigh, I imagine she got down to shaping the next project in the days following 21/07/17
  12. This is so peculiar to me, it can't just be a random improvised intro with that melody and those lyrics, it just seems too well thought out Imagine this is actually a song that makes up the core of ldr6 and we realise that she was teasing it all this time the meltdowns
  13. Ok fuck only from about one (1) hour ago I've started craving not only new lana music, but an entirely new era with new visual concepts, interviews and looks Prior to this, I was living a normal life content with all that lana has provided for us Normally when this happens, it makes the wait for the next album feel about 100x longer and I become desperate and this occupies my brain and I almost go into cardiac arrest every time she even hints towards anything new Thankfully, this has happened 8 months after the release of LFL, whereas with Honeymoon it happened about a week later thus making the wait for lfl a long long long drag However, this also means I will begin scrutinising every single thing she does yet again, in search of clues and will create ridiculous release scenarios [coachella - woodstock] in my mind Sigh, my body is ready
  14. I think human nature is the only song of hers that I actively dislike and it's because of that autotune BUT I've only recently started to properly listen to her stuff and I'm actually in love (ison is a masterpiece, her previous EPs, this new EP) everything is gold It's weird because i loved Human from like last year and listened to songs like bluecid and mad woman when they were released but i just don't remember doing so it just clicked when I re-listened to those songs and they were faintly familiar to me I even watched/was thoroughly captivated by the video for Hear my pain heal when it was released but I didn't remember until recently when I searched it on youtube and saw it was already in my liked videos She truly erased herself from my mind so i could experience her music properly all over again
  15. I didn't even contemplate how ugly a title HIAB is yikes
  16. This snippet is literally taken from the same album as the fake yail/morricone snippet it's called butterfly knife by buffalo rodeo
  17. Sorry I like the song but this is not lead single or video worthy at ALL! It can be the Change of the album hopefully she finds some erratic new inspiration halfway through the recording process and changes course to become something completely different because HIAB just seems like the predictable next step
  18. I can't believe Lana Del Rey is happy now
  19. But I love it nonetheless
