  1. I was reading through the Dreamland sessions thread and there were so many members speculating that Dreamland would be the album title for ldr3 just cos chuck hashtagged it and now we're doing the same thing for Subversive and ldr5 cos its in Lana's bio There was also a member that was ranting against chuck shooting any album covers they foreshadowed the honeymoon mess 2 years early
  2. YES, this line is so beautiful, it makes me think of an otherworldly dark night - you know how the encounter with that first little girl in Lolita was described? Underneath a tree? Exactly that.
  3. "God's dead, I said baby that's alright with me/ No one's gonna take my soul away" It's the blasphemous imagery that gets me the most. "God's dead", you can almost visualise this chaos throughout all of being, this destruction and volatility (reminds me of the ldr5 prerelease thread ). It's so inciting and fiery, she's revelling in this pandemonium, with an emotionally charged detachment and pain. It reads like a biblical mayhem scene, an anti-creation story.
  4. She needs to put us out of our collective misery with a cheeky instagram post captioned with the albums name Queen of informing fans anyway I hope whatever the name is, it is striking. 'Born to Die' was this immense morbid reflection, 'Ultraviolence' has the sharp "v" sound, and the word 'violence' cuts of the tongue like a blade. 'Honeymoon' as a title reflected the album well as it has all these soft, easy going sounds with the "H" and the "oo". Next one better be as incredible. (why am I doing a literary analysis of her album titles on lanaboards what is wrong with me )
  5. I am disgusted with all of this Ultraviolence hate
  6. Yno seeing as she already has this schedule planned out means she's already thinking about promotion and would've explored the ways in which she could do so, so I'm 98% certain she'll debut SOMETHING at corona capital
  7. I see this as LDR5 but don't count LDRAKA because she wasn't even REY back then. You can't buy it either, and BtD is the beginning of her current form, so btd is ldr1. I count paradise as separate because it genuinely differs a lot from BTD, and has different religious themes and cutting lyrics. So Paradise is ldr2 in my eyes, even though it is just an ep.
  8. Jonathan wilson maybe, justin parker perhaps, blake might make a return to producing again
  9. Me too, i honestly genuinely believe it will diverge from our expectations simply due to the time she's taken to produce the album and this 70s vibe she is seemingly going for
  10. This is so entirely true, it came so soon after an incredible album that was released barely a year before. From the get go, Honeymoon was rushed and messy - she talked about a new record in the same month she released Ultraviolence, namedropped a song title, didn't give herself a large amount of time to peacefully work on this new content with the Endless Summer tour and stuff. It was like she wanted to create another album simply to act as a buffer between her and Ultraviolence just so she could be distanced from it, because her enthusiasm for UV dropped as soon as she first uttered the words 'Music to Watch Boys to'. And people were not ready for new Lana content so much. Sure, people may have been thirsting for it, but it didn't feel like the right time at all - I have been craving new Lana material since February, but I always knew it just wasn't the right time. I believe that if the announcement that she was working on new content came a little later, and she paced herself with the release date, Honeymoon would've been much more valued, but the fact that it came so soon after Ultraviolence doomed it from the start - people were always going to compare the two, and Honeymoon is so different and mellow compared to Ultraviolence, it could almost seem boring and lazy, when it really just conveys a different mood, like all of her albums. I have begun to adopt this mindset - do not compare albums. They are all meant to be different and evoke different moods, so me believing Honeymoon was a slow, lethargic step back from Ultraviolence stopped me from realising it's easy-going, ethereal and hazy brilliance.
  11. "the song" so just the one huh But have yall seen the tweet eclipse posted too?? He said Rick, Emile "and more"... Multiple producers for ldr5 = varied sound I want that jonathan wilson and justin parker goodness
  12. Im glad Wild Side isn't real, it reads like it came from a Lana song title simulator. This Greg kid is the ultimate attention seeker by hashtagging her name on those tweets. And she essentially confirmed that the lyrics "look at you kids with your vintage music" is on the album... I just wanna hear how she sings it and in which song it'll be in cos I have about a thousand different thoughts on how it'll sound With a release date chosen, this album can't be too far away
  13. - Wednesday 2nd November, 2016 - An iconic day in Lanaboards history.
  14. It had better be a monumental record that we will look back on for many years and never get tired of
  15. This has all just made me sick, I'm quite done with the drama around this album and we don't even know it's name yet
  16. What does she mean by the whole mindset and releasing to soon taking her out of it?
  17. There's a load of key info in the other pages I can't even begin to explain how much was told today
  18. Eclipse doesn't troll like this lmao, honestly it you've been around to witness for long enough you'd realise he has other, more cruel ways of trolling than fake information
