  8. Have yet to see it. I love Malick's Badlands though.
  9. I've had the Donnie Darko & The Virgin Suicides soundtracks on replay all week. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYwyjwFg-Zg
  10. Watched the Donnie Darko director's cut today - the theatrical is much better in my opinion.
  11. Nope, I watched the theatrical version. I heard bad things about the director's cut, the only positive thing I read about it was the movie made more sense with the director's cut. But I really don't care if it made complete sense or not - I absolutely adore the movie, the theatrical version I watched. I want to get it on DVD!
  12. 20 minutes until Liz & Dick!
  13. Liz & Dick premieres tonight on Lifetime - 9pm I believe for the Eastern coast of the US? Anyone else plan on watching?
  14. Yoann Lemoine How many times has Lana referenced "Coney Island" throughout Born to Die and AKA?
  15. Watched "The Night of the Hunter" (1955) - earlier today, amazing film. I really recommend it. The narrative gets messy during the second half of the film though, in spots - but the visuals are beautiful and haunting. It reminds me of German films like "M." I just watched "Donnie Darko" - I'm not sure what to say, I really loved the film, and I'm trying to 'figure it out' at the moment. But I think after one viewing it might just enter my all-time favorite films, something about it really struck me
