Maybe I have no clue whether she left the band on good terms or not but I hope they're all still friends
-
Her old band stuff is honestly so good, their album is a bit cringe in places but there's still some bops on there Even after Petite left for the UK they still dropped some good songs, hopefully they'll make a return soon (the lead singer was pregnant)
-
I ordered one of her old band's promo CD's (Smack Snack) and it has the studio acapella on featuring Petite's verses, it's so surreal hearing her sing in Hebrew
-
she gets that comparison a lot, i'd start with barbaric or lil love since they're probably her most accessible backpack and baby love are the two that she's most well known for though so definitely check those out!

Whilst the forum is full of Charli stans I'm gonna promote the original source of that pancake setup inspiration

I clocked that immediately, like I didn't even get past the first few seconds of the Boys vid before pausing it and making a snarky tweet At least she gave her credit, that was nice of her to do. A friend was on Island Record UK's artist roster page and noticed that she'd been removed (Wayback Machine revealed that she was there as of November 2016) which makes me think they might have dropped her, but I don't know because she's back in LA working with Diane Warren and someone must've set that up and I'd assume it was a label. I just hope this doesn't stop any release plans because she's getting closer towards finishing the album

Y'all will not sabotage another Bjork album release I swear to god, thankfully this appears to be fake but still
-
wish it had more of her but i'm still bopping
-
wait why did she release it and then act as though nothing happened, i wanna listen to it
-
When I said Q4 I meant like December but even then that's ambitious because they're still fleshing out a concept for the album, but yeah I'd love to see her hop on a track and go viral in the meantime but again I think that's debatable knowing her travel schedule

Ordered the deluxe CD a few days ago, can't wait to finally have it in my hands after all this time
-
Song of the year to be honest
-
She's been writing since September 2016, probably earlier, so I have a feeling that we'll get the lead in Q4 of 2017, or maybe Q1 of 2018. Also, some tea about the next album: https://twitter.com/petite_daily/status/870061411778658304

On the Genius page if you click 'read more' on the bio it should load the Facebook previews
-
Continental chanteuse tbh, when I heard she was heading to Brazil I just knew we'd get a track named after it
-
I just completed a repackaging project of the album for my graphic design course and I find myself connecting to the songs so much more now Truly one of the best albums released this decade
-
Not that anybody cares but here's a rough list of potential album 2 snippets we've got so far She's also been writing with Diane Warren, Joakim Åhlund, and maybe ionnalee
-
can someone try and fix this bc my messy ass can't even get half of the lyrics from the live audio alone https://genius.com/Sigrid-i-dont-buy-it-lyrics
-
I've had this on repeat for the past few days, I'm truly awestruck Her EP is super good as well, I've been sneaking it in at all the parties and gatherings I've been to recently
-
I wonder if there was something more going on behind the scenes than they're letting on, either way I'm heartbroken Hopefully Blythe'll continue to release stuff even if she's solo
-
Oh wow I never realised how amazing NEVER TOO MUCH is, I kind of disregarded it at first but I'm blown away The video is beautiful and the song flows so nicely
-
Kinda disappointed that we're not gonna get any new iam stuff for a while but it's nice to see their roster expanding and actually begin to regularly release stuff. Also why 'ionnalee'? Maybe she wants to separate herself from her previous solo stuff under Jonna Lee?
-
Really got into her recently, Silhouettes was the starting point and after being gifted the album for Christmas it's gone on from there I know it's already been answered and moved on from but it's a shame that we'll never hear a HQ/studio-like version of All My Demons, it's the song that I keep coming back to and I've tried searching for some good remasters and even considered paying a producer to remaster the live audio but yeah, it's a real shame but I guess she made the call not to finalise the sessions of it so there's not much we can do lol

Japan was the working demo of what became this The lyrics were slightly different I think, I remember there were lyrics up for it on Genius before the page got turned into the Tokyo Drift page but I can't remember exactly what was different
-
rip in peace her album 2014-2017
