I feel like this happened with honeymoon too...when lfl era started honeymoon was all of a sudden boring and now that we’re about to get nfr lfl is trash. it’s like the excitement of a new album skews people’s views on past music, which explains why many claim that nfr will be her best album despite ultra’s continued existence

Someone else probably talked about it too but this is what I said: does anyone else feel like jack's production kind of ...leaves you hanging? i noticed it in mac and now in season of the witch...it's like something's building and i'm waiting for a tempo change or for louder instruments to kick in and it never happens

it was definitely a mixed bag (imf and tnc on the same record) but i liked how there was something for everyone/ every mood
