Whilst I have been known to joke on this site about Lanas discog past Honeymoon- I have been warming up to chemtrails and Banisters lately especially I know some people joke that they are cute mixtapes but songs like chemtrails(title track) and Black bathing suit are especially good turns for her.

I also don’t feel A&w firsts half was benefitted via either the mixing or perhaps Lanas delivery rendering it somewhat mumbled- whispering would have had the same effect to give intentionality on certain lines whilst still being audible.

My unpopular opinion is that some of the fanbase need to chill out in regards to Lanas artistry- the breakdowns I’ve seen over the few critical opinions in the last 24 hrs are insane- I remember people were stoked after LFL but they’d just tell people to stfu-this is just something else…

Honestly I’d like to hear what Rick Nowels+ Garbage could do - I bet it would be pretty amazing tbh- very emotional with left of centre dance moments

Funnily enough I have actually been to doctors for hearing issues but all have suggested my hearing is normal on a “test level” lol- I do have ear buildup issues and actually have to get syringing every 3 months. I doubt my opinion on music has been changed that much via these issues tbh though- hope you’re able to sort out the apartment ❤️

I’d love for her to be more open to fan interaction etc but I don’t even see her releasing an album anytime soon especially after twitter

Okay I’m changing my opinion- there is a good or atleast decent track here but are none of hearing how bad the vocal mixing is? There’s some intereresting lines here but it’s either the mic being an IPhone 11 or someone does know not how to mix because the lines are unintelligible mostly- you can pick good phrases out- it’s annoying because this could have been something great.

I think Marina could take some of younger marinas advice tbh, I’m hoping she does a live show in a few years because I want to see her but I want her to cut the backing track out except for the important parts-it’s not needed

I imagine Marina drives a lot of sessions tbh-no discount to charli but she even stated she didn’t really write much on good ones and it’s a pretty basic song songwriting wise besides it’s production(great track though). I feel like Marina probably did the majority and only took pieces she liked(not necessarily the best parts).

I think Marina realised how silly it was pretty quickly anyway but I don’t think she wants to keep in touch with charli because she ignores the @s
