  1. I'm not expecting her to win but I just want her to wear an iconic look to the awards and take a photo with a skinny legend like Rihanna
  2. Lots of people think Gaga will win, which I would want to happen if Lana doesn't win, but Joanne wasn't incredibly well received by critics and failed to reach the cultural impact that her other albums have had and I can't see it winning. I can see her winning Pop Vocal Performance for Million Reasons more realistically.
  3. Lana stop making the backtrack so loud that the audience can't even hear your voice challenge
  4. She sounded good and it's cool she sang Radio but we can collectively agree this is the worst tour look and she's serving nanny just rolled out of bed looks instead of milf looks
  5. Pitchfork spilling tea per usual https://pitchfork.com/thepitch/grammys-2018-predictions-who-will-win-and-who-should-win

    Kali Uchis

That video is too good. She always delivers those visuals!
  8. Is that Lana's seat behind SZA in the back of this pic?
  9. I want Lana to do another soundtrack song so fucking bad

    Kali Uchis

After the Storm video Thursday! I'm like 90% sure Kali is attending the Grammys on Sunday too. In her livestream (which you can rewatch) she was like "second announcement is that I'm gonna be in New York this weekend" I mean she is nominated for Get You with Daniel and she's on tour with Lana, who's attending. Plus Tyler is nominated! Get ready for Miss Uchis to kill the red carpet!
  11. Heroin really is #THAT song I can't believe she didn't include it on the setlist when bitch said it was her favorite
  12. Back to repeating outfits. Well the new outfits were fun while they lasted ladies!
  13. Best Adapted Screenplay Award in the bag, it won't win any others though sorry twinks
  14. Well the nominations are out! Thoughts? There honestly wasn't any shocking snubs or surprises, it looks like The Shape of Water is in lock for Best Picture though. I think the winners will be pretty much as expected, there won't be any huge upsets. Biggest Oscars upset of all time: Crash winning Best Picture over Brokeback Mountain (MESS) the Academy even admitted to regretting that
  15. I really hope Allison Janney wins Best Supporting Actress. Margot Robbie and Janney both really blew me away in I, Tonya and that movie was incredibly entertaining, my favorite of the year that I saw along with The Florida Project and Call Me by Your Name. It's very unlikely that both ladies will win the actress categories, but I think Janney will (and should) win because her and Laurie Metcalf are the top contenders. Was I the only one completely underwhelmed by Lady Bird? I mean I enjoyed it but I was expecting much more from the hype and the plot wasn't very original. It was just good, not incredible and didn't leave me emotional.
  16. I'm expecting both to get nominations including a Best Picture nomination. They were two of the most well received films of the year and lots of experts have predicted them to get nominations. Call Me by Your Name practically has the Best Adapted Screenplay Award in the bag, but I don't think it will win more than that unless Chalamet shocks. I believe Get Out will get at least two nominations (possibly Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, Best Director, or Best Actor) but won't win unless it snatches Original Screenplay. Just you wait!
  17. Honestly Margot Robbie in I, Tonya was probably my favorite lead performance I saw from 2017. She showed quite a range and really just nailed it. Her performance was way more powerful than Saoirse Ronan in Lady Bird and I was disappointed in the Golden Globes choice. I'm expecting Frances McDormand to win but MARGOT DESERVED BETTER
  18. This year's Oscars are tricky cause there's really no movie I think will be sweeping the awards or will be an obvious winner for Best Picture, like last year with La La Land (even tho it didn't win Best Picture most expected it to but it still sweept the floor). Anways here are my predictions, keep in mind I haven't seen all listed. Best Picture: Most likely: - The Shape of Water - Get Out - Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - Call Me by Your Name - Lady Bird - Dunkirk Possible: - Phantom Thread - The Post - Mudbound - Darkest Hour - The Disaster Artist - I, Tonya - The Florida Project Far shot: - The Big Sick - Wonder Woman - Baby Driver Who will win: - Three Billboards or The Shape of Water Personal favorites: - The Florida Project, Call Me by Your Name, I, Tonya Best Actress Most likely: - Frances McDormand for Three Billboards - Margot Robbie for I, Tonya - Saoirse Ronan for Lady Bird - Sally Hawkins for The Shape of Water - Meryl Streep for The Post Possible: - Jessica Chastain for Molly's Game - Emma Stone for Battle of the Sexes - Kate Winslet for Wonder Wheel Who will win: - Frances McDormand or Saoirse Ronan Personal favorite performances: - Margot Robbie and Frances McDormand Best Actor Most likely: - Gary Oldman for The Darkest Hour - Timothée Chalamet for Call Me by Your Name - Daniel Day-Lewis for Phantom Thread - Tom Hanks for The Post - Daniel Kaluuya for Get Out Possible: - James Franco for The Disaster Artist - Denzel Washington for Roman J. Israel, Esq. - Jake Gyllenhaal for Stronger Will win: - Gary Oldman or Timothée Chalamet Personal favorite performances: - Timothée Chalamet and Jake Gyllenhaal As for Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor, if Allison Janney and Willem Dafoe don't win I'm rioting!
