Shit this record is really growing on me I'm really creeped out by that sample of the man laughing in Salvatore

I mean it doesn't have to be that way but I don't think it's far-fetched to think she intended this ambiguity that nastly little hoe

I think it was smart to make this album gapless as this album seems less coherent to me than her others. So making the songs flow into each other gives them a certain connection. And yes I'm going to be that tacky and say it, it almost feels like travelling from place to place, less geographical places but rather more abstract places as in mindsets, atmosphere and feelings. Almost like she's taking us with her on her honeymoon

This has probably been discussed before but I just realized how the 'ahh-ayyy-ahhh' in the beginning of Swan Song is the same melody she sang at the end of HBTB

I am not sure what to think of this album yet. It's a good, solid record I'd say but I feel like I don't get it. I feel like all her other records were more cohesive and expressive idk. I loved the previously released songs but from the rest only one or two are intriguing enough for me to return to the record atm. But it will take me more listens to dive deeper into this, understand it & maybe appreciate it more. I'll probably stan hard af in a week, I'm the person who couldn't stand WC at first till it became one of my all time faves I thought the same thing oh my god

I kind of like that Hm repeats 'our honeymoon' in the chorus and swan song, at the end of the album, repeats 'it'll be our swan song' in the chorus. Really feels like a beginning and an end
