    I would love a cover full of metaphors relating to the album content too, but I obviously haven't heard any music yet so I thought this would be fun to do for the time being haha. 

    Regardless of whatever the cover ends up being I'm sure I'll love it - Lana's visuals are always outstanding!  :flutter:  :wub:

     

    YASS! NFR is her best cover. It's like Lana is grabbing onto us, pulling us from the chaos that The Greatest talks about, onto her boat towards safety "You lose your way, just take my hand" <3

    I loved Chuck's videos for the songs on NFR so I hope someday we see this! They really captured Lana's essence in its rawest form and their simplicity is quite beautiful.

    California is one of my favourite songs of all time so it would be cool to have a visual for it!

    Same California is my fave NFR song and I also enjoy Chuck's videos no matter how simple they are. I definitely want to see it!

    But it definitely is her worst. It's good but not up to Lana's standards. The overall sound is messy especially closer to the middle with the cheaply-sounding trap beats of IMF and Roachella. Most of the songs are still good and some are instant classics (Heroin and Get Free for instance) but it is sonically and thematically disjointed without the real core at the heart of the album's concept. I believe if she didn't redo it and didn't add some unnecessary collabs and last minute songs (like WM, IMF and Cherry) and stuck to the concept we heard in LFL and BAR demos + RBFY, it would have been a great album with an overall strong concept but... it is what it is, a compilation of EPs.

     

     

    CHERRY IS THE BEST SONG ON THERE :D :D :D :D 

    What happened to White Hot Forever... didn't love the title but I still liked it more than the Chemtrails one. WTF is this. Is she trolling or trying to be 'political' again?

     

    Its probably still a song on the album - like when she said Honeymoon was going to be called 'Music To Watch Boys To' early on

    If she did retread any familiar territory I’d like to hear a mix of HM and NFR. I’ll probably love whatever it is she’s got cooking. I always become obsessed with Lana records.

     

    Omg yes this is my dream. Honeymoon and NFR are my two fave albums <3 This is everything I want ahhah.

    i don't want to surpass that, it was a nightmare. I would much prefer a quick and concise rollout, we have the nfr pre release to look back on if we want some good laughs

     

    It was a mentally destabilising time for some of us       :flop:  :flop:  :flop:  :flop:

     

    I had so many dreams where NFR was out and I'd just wake up as I was buying it/I couldn't get the CD to play/etc - I remember waking up once ready to drive and get the album thinking it had come out  :derpna2:  :derpna2:

    i also wonder if this post was made because of the bullshit she got from her record company about UV.

     

    and she bent to their liking throughout HM, LFL, and NFR

     

    it now seems like she doesn’t give a fuck, she’s doing what she wants again. not that she didn’t on the last three, but they were a sort of compromise.

    HM and NFR I don't think were what her record company would have wanted... Besides High by the Beach and Doin' Time being shoehorned on that is.
