Okay. It was offensive. It was wrong. I'm pretty sure she didn't mean it that way (cultural appropriation was more acceptable back then, lana is only kind of recently woke). Regardless, I think we should all just admit that it was wrong and move on.

I know she said it wasn't going to be a surprise release but honestly that's what I'm expecting at this point. It wouldn't be on all those websites if it wasn't true, and I could see how they might decide that although it isn't ordinarily the best release plan for lana, it is better than having everything leak (maybe they know some people have it?)

It sounds like Ed already knows about the forum I doubt our dumbo opinions are going to change his release plans in the slightest, no need to potentially stir up trouble

I agree, it was more directed at the people calling her lazy for not doing live shows and things like that

I think the reasons she doesn't promote are a lot more complicated than that she's lazy-- she's insecure after a career filled with backlash

To be honest, there is no excuse for her managers to ignore/slack with her, no matter how great dua is (btw I've never heard anything about her outside this forum). They get paid to help Lana's career and honestly they aren't doing her any favors. Moreover, Lana is bigger than her and a little promotion goes a much longer way with Lana, and is worth the investment

Look I get your perspective not trying to make you upset, it's a discussion forum so I thought i would throw my two cents in. I do care about the release, and I even agreed that I thought it was stupid, my only point was that she can do what she wants even if we don't like it.
