completely agree. I understand having preferences to certain genres but rap isn't "dirty." There are plenty of rap artists that make really amazing music with powerful messages. It really should be respected as a form of music

With this whole innovative/not innovative convo, I still don't think I could find another album I would necessarily compare UV to

YOU HAVENT HEARD THE FUCKING SONG YET honestly some people on here got me heated pretending like they even know what to expect from the album/song they havent heard yet except for a few LQ snippets. I disliked salvatore until I finally listened to it with headphones in when Honeymoon came out and it totally changed for me. the album is 16 songs long and I think she did that on purpose so that there's something for everyone. The SB snippet she posted has basically nothing in it. But if you don't like it you don't have to listen to it/keep stanning. If you decide you won't like it beforehand though you probably won't and that's just how the human brain works. You definitely don't have to like everything she puts out I had my fair share of criticisms for Coachella but at least wait until you see her whole vision because we basically have no idea what it is yet and I bet she will surprise us with more continuity than we were expecting when the album drops.

If this makes anyone feel better, people are pointing out how shitty her past titles have been and I didn't even notice because this is the first album cycle I've been on lanaboards for (I had a stan twitter and followed her closely on other sites, so it wasn't like I wasn't aware either). I dont think the general public will make automatic assumptions like we are; I think we're thinking too much into it because when you haven't heard a track it's really hard to judge what it will be like or what it's about.

me too- and yet now im so cynical I don't believe anything for sure I get what you're saying, but for me it's so short of a snippet and it feels like a bridge/transition part of the song so I'm keeping an open mind I could see it fitting into a bigger picture I appreciate

Lana has been so afraid of leaks lately I doubt she would put bar on the album; she has 18 (or 16) songs on there she doesn't need a song that has already been leaked. When she did it with black beauty it was because it was meant to be a lead single, and even then she revamped it. Also I could see yosemite being an itunes or apple music exclusive bonus track or something like that because of how up her butt apple is there's probably some kind of partnership with them

maybe she didn't know cause it was a surprise party and 1oak/that one member's friend ruined the surprise

Im hoping if coachella is on the album it was remade into a more smoky acoustic production so there are two versions of the song Tbh, the fact that there are songs we counted on missing feels to me more like an authentic tracklist, because people's instincts are to put every title they've ever heard of in there when making a fake one. Also we know lana's been making a lot of changes. I also don't know why two separate sites would post the same fake tracklist-- that doesn't really add up. I could see her dropping the tracklist and preorder tomorrow that's a date that makes sense with her usual timeline and that would be a logical reason why these are showing up.
