why is everyone so sure that snippet was the SB chorus? it didn't really sound like a chorus to me

I listened to GL and 24 side by side and literally see no similarities lol to me it's the 6th untouchable 5-- it doesnt really sound like a copy of one but it could go with them. Tbh sometimes I wonder what would have happened if U5 hadn't leaked. Would lana ever progress to UV sound? would we have Black Beauty as an album instead and what would it sound like?

someone said in another thread that when the preorder goes up we will get snippets of all the songs, from the itunes previews but that's not true right? I just remember in every other era not knowing what to expect for most songs till the album leaked online

ugh these are amazing. I really think, and I've always thought this, lana just doesn't know which songs to release early from a record. But lust for life is gonna be amazing

I wish lana was releasing summer bummer and maybe a song that showed another side of the record (BPBP or TNC maybe?) on wed instead of two boppy songs that are next to each other on the tracklist, cause she's already put out more boppy stuff thus far she never showed us the other types of songs

I have to say, I'm a little worried about this playboy cardi arrest drama. It's hard to justify having a track like GBA alongside a track that features an artist accused of domestic battery (not saying lana did anything obviously, it just could look bad for people who don't bother to look at the timeline)

But I was driving to it today and thinking about how underrated it is and how no one brings it up on here seriously? two of those things are attributes about the individual one is an insult based on race. Calling black people monkeys is more than just likening their physical features to that of a monkeys (which is still bad), it's equating them to an animal, which is historically a way of making them subhuman to reinforce the idea that they are somehow inferior. Just because you do it and a particular group of people don't call you out that doesn't make it right. They do not decide whether everyone else is offended by it. Look into yourself and decide you're honestly okay with the ideas that slur propagates

I've been debating how I'm gonna listen to it and I think I'm going to go in order starting with 13 beaches because there's no way I'll be able to sit through two songs I've played to death when there are 11 new songs just to get the album in order lol

I think we shouldn't give that user any more attention at this point. That's probably what they want. We pointed out how horrible and disgusting that is hopefully they'll change.

okay, so i know no one on here notices me or like im not a major player or anything but just wanted to say Im happy to be spending the album cycle with you guys, even if you're messy and sometimes jump to dumb conclusions, it's nice to finally find people who care about lana like I do cause for awhile people were just like annoyed at me for being obsessed and now i have an outlet You aren't! I am. It's amazing that she's happy when she once was possibly suicidal we have to think about what the ramifications of wanting her to be sad actually are
