Okay so I was rereading the rolling stones article from UV and I noticed this quote about her name change: The other possible name was Cherry Galore, she says, probably joking: "You'd be sitting here calling me 'Cherry.'" I love that she named a song after that

In some ways this makes me sad how little she seems to care, or enjoy fame. Peter Silberman of the Antlers sold their album Hospice on the streets of new york city for money because he wanted to make music so badly. Lana even used to sing about fame and making music with passion. Now her lyrics are really damning of it and she can't get out of it, like she is famous and there's nothing she can do to be completely normal again. I guess it's just weird to think fame is this thing so many people yearn for and for so many famous people it ruins them or in Lana's case makes them kind of hollow

can people stop being so freaking dramatic? there is a huge difference between her delaying stuff when she hasn't announced the date (may 26th, SB), and her delaying an album where the release date has been revealed on multiple platforms, most notably an interview that got published online 3 days ago. The release date was just reconfirmed. Now I understand a lot of you think that by always expecting nothing of Lana you will never be disappointed, but instead of spreading misinformation you could just manage your emotions when things don't go as planned, and recognize that it's not the end of the world.

yes she posted an insta of her singing in the woods a month before but that wasn't really an announcement of anything and love went up without her saying anything, the honeymoon audio did, etc. like so much happens without a word from her that's why people get their hopes up because there isn't really a correlation between the times when she announces and when she doesn't and it being fake or real, especially with the coverart

is there a chance it will come out tomorrow? like not in a get your hopes up kind of way but in a maybe that website isn't the end all be all kind of way (I dont generally get my hopes up that high/get that devastated when stuff like this happens so don't come at me genuine question)
