  1. Maybe she doesn't wanna promote it much because the song is so personal, and we'll just be blown away come Friday without warning
  2. A random song just came on shuffle on Spotify and I heard the lyrics "I might show up in a White Dress..."
  3. I definitely don't think the interviews mean Lana is unhappy with the record. I think it's just a more challenging album and she confronts some emotions that were hard for her to do, so it's not an easy-breezy record for her. MOJO referring to an "explicit autobiographical edge" has me so excited!
  4. Saaame. I couldn't even pretend that I could wait. The song deserves the three weeks in the spotlight anyways
  5. I really hope the trailer is something creative like the Lust for Life trailer and doesn't feature snippets, unless they're the songs we already have glimpses of.
  6. Do we think Mojo only heard the album because of the interview, and that's why we got the review so early?
  7. It's really interesting that Lana has Weyes Blood ends the record. I get why people would be upset about it but it's kind of a beautiful gesture, especially with the reviewer saying that she really sounds like Joni in the closing moments. Lana really looks up to her idols and has been treated well by many of them, like Joan Baez, Stevie Nicks, Bruce Springsteen, etc, so it's almost like she's passing on that kindness to someone else she admires. Lana has been searching for this community of hers for so long and it seems like she's finally found it. The album cover makes a lot more sense to me now. It's like this whole album is a cross-country road trip and that picture could have been a casual moment taken at one of her stops along the way as she catches up with old friends. Nikki's feature is like another stop across the country where she plays a song at a bar with another old friend. It makes sense that she technically debuted the song in that way. Like @Dragon pointed out perfectly, there's this theme of fostering love from other women and being able to be who she wants to be. I think these elements will be the safety and hope that balance the darker themes about the struggles she's faced in the industry and the longing for her simpler past.
  8. It's not like she's singing Carrie Underwood tracks here, she may be exploring a more folk/country sound but she definitely puts her own uniquely Lana spin on all her music. I also wouldn't call this is a recent interest of hers. Lana has been talking about her folk idols and interests for a long time, she's always been working towards this sound. She's like a folk singer who got swooped up into the world of pop music, and I think the balance between the two gives her such a special and specific vibe. Anyways her best album is coming so I don't think she needs to take any hints
  9. This album is going to be a journey across Lana’s whole life and mind in the style of a cross-country American road trip.
  10. I'm still annoyed that we didn't at least get a black vinyl with the alternate cover.
  11. I'm so scared that Feb 26th is gonna come and go without a sound. We've set ourselves up for disaster before and we'll do it again. Just please don't let that be the case this time.
  12. Dance Till We Die is gonna be stunning, don't underestimate her. It's the final original song before the cover closing the album, I think it will be a simple but beautiful and meaningful summation of the community she's surrounded herself with.
  13. I'm gonna do White Dress, but no snippets. White Dress will be so powerful that it deserves its own moment to process. There's also so much we don't know about the album so release day will be full of amazing surprises regardless.
  14. I just walked home in the freezing cold, drunk off red wine, listening to Chemtrails on repeat and oh my...
