I don't think they're referring to Lana's "wokeness" but society's wokeness as the reason why she gets so much abuse. Ya I agree, that's how I took it. Obviously general "wokeness" is a good thing and super important for the world to be more inclusive and good for everyone, but there's a line that's often crossed by many, and it becomes just an excuse to attack others.
