  1. They also called Clay her fiancé in the review lol Like, do your research first, it's not that hard. Overall they did say a lot of really positive things about her and the album though
  2. Not a bad review, but that person clearly should have spent more time absorbing the album because some of those criticisms are just not it...
  3. I will collapse if Black Bathing Suit gets the big budget complex short film that it deserves
  4. This needs to be an emoji, it is the most flawless and definitive representation of disappointment
  5. One account has 20 million followers and gets attention from the press. The other account has 200 thousand followers and most people don't know it exists. She wanted to leave social media and make her circle smaller because it's toxic, but she obviously enjoys social media and sharing things, so she decided that occasional updates on the Honeymoon account was a safer alternative. To the general public, she has left social media because the Honeymoon account is still relatively unknown and private. It's really not that complicated.
  6. I think it's probably a combination of some publications are over it, some don't want to add fuel to the fire, and some are afraid to defend her because it's not fashionable to love her. Overall though, any serious music publication knows that she is a major force in the music industry, so I doubt many of them have lost interest in what she releases. I think this album will get a lot of positive coverage.
  7. I don't think Chemtrails broke that stride. The actual reviews for the album were excellent, her second best after NFR. Sadly (and unfairly) QFTC ended the highs that came with NFR, and then the mesh mask and other controversies only furthered that, so by the time Chemtrails and the three singles came out, the press was afraid to write about Lana. I think without any of the drama, the positive attention she was getting around NFR would have only continued to build, but unfortunately people were quick to forget that they briefly loved her and instead returned to thriving on drama and writing unfair takes about her that lacked nuance. I sincerely hope that all that is far enough away that people will return to the music, because as we know, no one does it better than Lana and it's about damn time that the industry properly recognizes that. If not, well then so be it, millions of people know how incredible she is, and her legacy will last forever.
  8. Any of the singles deserved Best New Track imo so I have no idea why they didn't. Are we really pretending that Love is better than Blue Banisters, Text Book, Arcadia, and Wildflower Wildfire? No shade, Love is great, but let's be real. I can only assume that they didn't want to cover her too much due to the controversies, but they seem to have since changed their minds and decided to get behind her once again.
  9. This whole situation is so sad to me. It's release week and she shouldn't have to deal with any of this stupid drama. That kid is a fucking idiot, and I'm glad Lana defended herself, but I do agree she shouldn't have posted his account and picture. This better not blow up and become new controversy that derails the conversation about the music...
  10. The more I listen the more I am expecting rave reviews. I don't see how critics could possibly not love this album, it is such a great project, and with her leaving social media and keeping a low profile lately, they really don't have much to come at her for other than the music, and they'll just look stupid if they try and focus on old controversies.
