  1. Happy birthday to this absolute masterpiece!! One of the best albums of all time that will continue to age like the finest wine.
  2. Friendly reminder that it's possible to have different and controversial opinions without being rude and obnoxious
  3. As much as I love a good leak, now that she's actually using leaked songs I feel guilty Imagine hearing something like Wild On You or I Talk To Jesus for the first time on the album
  4. Blue Banisters is going to be a deeply emotional and revealing journey through Lana's life, culminating with Wild On You/Colour Blue ending the album with once I found my way, now I am lost... which then leads us to a delirious Mike Dean produced masterpiece where all bets are off
  5. Lana is taking time to craft a piece of work that she wants to share with the world. Telling her to keep it because we don't want it is so bizarrely rude.
  6. I strongly recommend the "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" approach when it comes to Lana's album announcements. We've known for years that she gets excited and gives false info way too early, so I'm honestly surprised that some of you still hold onto these announcements and get so upset with her when they don't come true. The fact is we're getting two albums this year, which is mind-blowing. And let's be real, we all love the chaos of LanaBoards or we wouldn't be here. If Lana didn't give us false info this place would be a ghost town for two year stretches while we wait, but instead we get to be excited (lose our minds) together.
  7. Some of you really need to call your sisters and get those banisters painted green and grey...
  8. BoZ not liking the album is definitely good news if he hated Chemtrails I'm so happy that Lana doesn't care about what kind of music people think she should make and just does what she wants, she's crafting such a beautiful legacy. She told us long ago that she wanted to make her life into a work of art so it's silly for people to want to control her output and tell her what that life should look like. It's very clear that what Lana is accomplishing is a lot greater than hit music and commercial success. She's long past proving that can do that and has the freedom to unravel her art however she pleases, and I am so happy to be here to witness it. I can't even imagine what her artistic contributions will look like to the world in 50 years, especially if she continues on the way she has this past decade, which I honestly think she will. This album is going to be so good
  9. The best bday gift Lana could give Ben is some concrete album news for the fans so they stop harassing him Arcadia and preorder coming this week
  10. SO true. It's so frustrating that this album got swept under the rug because it really is beyond gorgeous and special, with several career highlights. Totally agree that it will be completely adored in the future. Lana really is the best in music.

The outro of Oceanic Feeling is like the epilogue to the whole album, not just the song. People are asking if the album is cringe or satire, but for me it's a bit of both, deliberately so. She's exploring these kind of cheesy wellness tropes that she's partially satirizing but also admiring them because it's hard to fault anyone who's able to find enlightenment in this dark world, even when the methods seem silly to the rest of us. The outro of the song is kind of like her revealing her cards, showing us that she's not quite the character she's inhabited throughout the album but she is genuinely on the path to finding her own version of peace and calm.

I'm so surprised by the extreme hate, people are so melodramatic. It's one thing to say the music's not for you, but some of the things people are saying... I went for a nice long walk last night and listened three times and it's so lovely! Very late 90s/early 2000s pop, mixed with Chemtrails energy, with subtle touches of 60s/70s. Not a big acid album like she originally set out to make, but the leftovers of that idea are sprinkled throughout, stoner vibes for sure. This polarizing reaction upon release will only ensure it's cult status in the future. I imagine the whole album will be a grower that gets better with each listen, but it's already great.

Mood Ring is so good I love it. All the singles are great so far in their own ways and get better with each listen. I personally feel like she already explored the sound and themes of Melodrama perfectly on that record and on Pure Heroine, and I like that she's taking a totally different approach to the sound of this album. Can't wait to hear the whole thing but I think it's going to be beautiful.
  14. The lack of taste in here tonight is startling. All 3 of the singles are incredible in their own ways.
  15. Arcadia is beautiful but I also love Blue Banisters as an album title. It's so random and seems to mean nothing at first, but once you know what it means it holds so much power. A title that only Lana could pull off and continues the tradition of the last three albums having bizarre titles that are open to interpretation, but all so memorable in their own ways.
  16. Surprise release incoming this Friday the 13th
  17. November 2 sounds like a perfect date. The quiet incoming coldness of winter, mixed with the warmth of the Christmas season beginning, with a little leftover spookiness from autumn. A dream
  18. Arcadia: a region or scene of simple pleasure and quiet
  19. Lmao I love how she's just casually posting stunnning selfies while everyone panics about album news
