At the same time I think Natalia's first album is quite good and I have listened to it a lot of times, I still think it has a lot of filler tracks... I wonder if anyone feels the same?

Madrigal, bless that post of yours. I could've read ten more paragraphs if you had written.

Favorite song: "Nuclear Seasons" - I think it's just a classic when it comes to Charli. It was one of the first tracks I heard from her last year and I really loved the vibe it had, its explosive chorus and all. I believe it's kind of Charli's masterpiece and she still needs to top it for me. Least favorite song: "Spoons" - Out of the released tracks, it's the one that doesn't stick with me too much. I have nothing serious against the track but it's just that I remember listening to her mixtape and it being the only track I wanted to skip. I just don't like how that guy sings with Charli too, maybe I'd like it more if it was Charli-only.

I am still surprised at how Bonnie managed to get so many established and worldwide famous artists to feature in her music video.
-
You guys can debunk "One Man Show" too. For your own good, also forget "Wild at Heart," "Choke," "Swamp Girl," "Broadway" and the Jason songs ("Gloves," "Cecil Diamonds" and "Teen Witch"), we're not getting any of those.

Her album is going to kill me.

One of the new songs she performed at the NME Showcase yesterday: It's called "I'm on Top" and it's one of the songs I mentioned about being released and not being registered (yet). "Love in Stereo" too:

I want to cry every time I remember her show happened this night in London but I wasn't there. And I am literally reloading every page I can until performance videos are posted. I'm a mess.
-
I wish it was released under Charli or something like that. I mean, I know it sounds bad and I am by no means ungrateful that we're getting these songs, but some of these releases are just so messy... Sometimes it feels like some of the songs were meant to be Charli's but since they couldn't, they were released under people that did nothing but the instrumental and stuff. I put only "Illusions Of" under Charli XCX on the unreleased album and I don't even care.
-
I don't want to put the track under J£ZUS MILLION and under a compilation album like that, seriously. I think I am going to put it under Charli and not even credit him.

It reminds me of "Cloud Aura" so much... it's just fine, nothing special.

Mad, there's also "Rancid Girl," that's been registered sometime ago. I suppose basically all songs Sky did with Ariel are going to be released, considering that all the songs that were most hyped were produced by him ("Lost in My Bedroom" and "Everything Is Embarrassing"). Jon produced more songs than "Ghost" and "Rancid Girl," clearly, but I have no idea why some of those are still kept secretive and not even registered yet.

A lot of people were like "oh, I don't like this new sound, I want her to go back to electro-pop" and this kind of bullshit but in the end she never got distant from electronic music whatsoever. "Lick My Twit" is nowhere to be found, ugh. It's quite possible that Sky doesn't have any participation in it except for lyric writing, like "Livin' My Love."

There are more than two slow songs on the album! Sitar, there's no need for you to give up on "Werewolf"! The version she posted is more than half of the full song, but there's still more to it. There's still the "don't repay me with a bruise" part and stuff. Back in the day when she was still choosing what to release, she thought the album would be half-electro and half-slow as she has stated sometimes. Now it seems that some Jon Brion songs have been dropped so the Ariel tracks will have preference. In the end, people were very unpleased with her new sound and stuff but I believe that now we are still going to get a really electro-pop album but even better, because it'll contain songs that she can relate to and that she is pleased with.

"Summertime Sadness" - Next Single in the US, July 2nd
Jord replied to Kimi Rose's topic in New Releases
Ew. Officially given up on "Cola." -
The album doesn't have just 10 tracks and I can confirm that "Ghost" (the track) won't be there. There are tracks that haven't been registered that are going to be released. I just really want Sky/Capitol to announce the release day and "You're Not the One." Then my life will be 90% complete.

Where did you find "Everything Is Embarrassing"? God, I check eBay everyday and if I had seen that, I'd snatched it. Glad you got it, though!
-
The EP has four songs: "Tennis Court," "Swingin Party," "Bravado" and "Biting Down," and it's not a pre-order link. It's available to download after you buy it!
-
I checked her music on iTunes and it has the same cover as the Love Club EP. It frustrated me because I hate it so much (the cover).

Has the Tennis Court EP the same cover as The Love Club?

Grimes and Charli were supposed to be her peers just because of the V Magazine cover. Grimes had her first album in 2010 and Charli only released "Stay Away" back in early 2011 (not to mention that she already had a released album, it wasn't just a major released). They have never been associated... I am not sure if all of you read most of the news about Sky or what people say about her but what I see is that every time she releases something new, there's always "hype" around it. People mentioned AS IF! as being her "long-awaited first EP," "Everything Is Embarrassing" was totally hyped on Pitchfork and everywhere else. It's true that we can't compare the hype that was around her back in 2010 to what she has now, even though it's still a lot, specially because of her campaigns and modeling works. I am 100% sure Sky doesn't care about releasing her album when she's hyped, she just wants to be satisfied with her debut record. Now, as I said, Sky isn't recording anymore and she's just waiting for the label announcement, there's nothing else for her to do. This album will come out.
-
I hope it's clear to everyone that it is not Sky's fault that the album has been pushed back. Basically nothing that has affected Sky's career negatively was her fault. Her album that would come out in January 2011 was pushed back because of leaks and she had to re-record a lot of stuff if she wanted to release them. She posted a picture of the final album already, she is no longer recording anything. The songs she want there are already done. She's performing basically all the new songs in a few days. It's the label's fault that I Will hasn't been announced yet, and it's also their fault that "You're Not the One" is yet to be released. She doesn't postpone things to "piss her fans off." As a long-time fan, I am already used to these push-backs because I understand that things are not easy for Sky. She worked very hard to come up with a team that really cares about her work and she's said some times that she has total control over the new record, so I am sure that it will be worth it (whenever) it comes out.

Holy biggest Amy stan, did you forget me? Don't leave me in the darkness.
