exactly. sorry, i felt the need to put it on bold there, because i agree with you so much. lana doesn't give a fuck about how many unreleased songs you have, i think if she knew that somebody was sticking up for her, she'd appreciate that a lot more. i probably sound like one of those annoying wannabe hardcore fans, but idk it just irks me when people make bad assumptions when people really haven't done anything wrong. nothing she said in this interview was remotely out of order or unkind.

that's true, some people probably read the comments before the article and then automatically made a bad assumption.

she probably means that barrie is her artistic soulmate, that they're on the same wavelength. my mum always says that she's my dad's intellectual soulmate, does that mean that she thinks no one else is clever? no. people always take what lana says out of context entirely.

i agree. how could they even say she had a shitty attitude when they didn't hear her tone of voice or anything? sometimes i look at her 'fans' and i'm like 'wow, they're more like critics tbh'. again, i really wouldn't be surprised, my mum asked me once if she had aspergers and i was like 'not sure', i used to know a girl who acted in quite a similar way to lana and she had it, like they're both quite awkward. but of course, it doesn't bother me if lana does have a personality disorder or anything, i still love her!

that is also very true, but at the same time, she's not in any way obligated to answer personal and grating questions (lets face it, most of the questions she gets asked are the same). i think a lot of her songs are about her, but i'm not sure that every single song is, maybe she's writing about an alter-ego or something.
