My feelings about the UO cover is more to do with the quality of Urban's "exclusive" pressings. They're a joke lol. They are mastered and pressed by someone who's obviously an amateur. No care was taken in handling those releases.

I’ve never been impressed with any of heralbum covers, maybe the exception of Paradise. Even her single covers are miles better than the album covers. Oh and what was the Chuck shot for UV?

I do love LFL, and found it to be a return to form in one way or another. I think what initially turned me off of the album when it's release was the collaborations. They were jarring, and didn't fit the record. I prob listened to the record about 2 times in 2017 and kinda moved on from Lana for the rest of the year. Now that 2018 is soon closing, i've been listening to the album A LOT! There's so many highlights that are surrounded by duds. There's a lot going on, too many tracks imo. She could have cut out 4 tracks and it would have been perfect. This is how I rank the tracks: PERFECT: 13 Beaches White Mustang In My Feelings Heroin (fucking amazing i tell you!) I still think what was released is amazing! Prob one of her best. I'm curious, what all has leaked from this original album?

It gave me a headache lol. I was expecting to read things like, "yeah they dont get along." "momma wanted lana to have a traditional yuppie lifestyle" and stuff like that. None of this psychology stuff...

Didn't Lana also say she re-shot the artwork for the album once the direction changed, or am I making that up? Or was this for a different album?

I'm hearing rumors she submitted songs to Tarantino's new flick.

Blame her label/team for not promoting to that format. Or just blame Lana anyway. They money they could be spending for radio promotion prob goes to the videos instead. We should be lucky that she's still going strong with albums and her creative vision. Till this day Lana is still pumping out massive and glorious videos, one being a fucking film. Commercial success doesn't seem to be important to Lana or her team. And it shouldn't be important to us. She has a best selling album of all time that still continues to chart. At least she has that under her belt and the crazies can use that as bragging rights. Lana has always satisfied me with her music and videos. Not her chart stats.

Face it, LDR is not a cover queen. Paradise is sultry and may be her best looking one to date, but it's still simple. This is what we know about Lana when it comes to album covers... She doesn't do gimmicks (we will never see her body contorted into a motorcycle or see her with black wires wrapped around her head) She doesn't like over processed graphic design. She likes things simple. Simple photo with simple font. The End.
