"The Blow" is so incredible. I'm still working on getting into the rest of her discography, but with a lead single this brilliant, the album has to be good!
-
No - just look what happened to Lana, and then Charli. Are all her released singles written with MNEK?
-
I just want the bonus tracks.
-
It's stylized A*M*E, and she's a massively talented up-and-coming UK popstar.
-
I. LOVE. THIS. SONG.
-
Don't know if you have these, but some are on her old Bebo profiles: http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=4495353441 & http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=7580815614

Oh, I'd be fine with just the ones that are leaked/released! :3 I mean, if they're good, I am trustworthy, but I just want to start off my fanship with what I can get. So nice of you to offer. . .I'll gladly accept whatever you feel like sharing.
-
Might be, but I'm not sure...the data for the second sampler is significantly harder to interpret than the first.
-
I K R...I wonder how many people have it. I really want "Interior" and the "Lock You Up" demo in lossless!
-
Tell me about it. The whole sampler ordeal is a terrible, terrible scenario for any artist, especially one who hasn't even released their first album yet...I can't believe it didn't leak sooner, with those idiots over at "xcx-army" posting clips and all. This reminds me - would you be able to help me with your vast A*M*E collection? Here in the states, there are virtually no songs to be found, either released or unreleased.
-
very interesting. o_O Not saying it IS fake, but still...i'm surprised someone would do something like that.
-
Someone played both songs for you? Like, via Skype? And is "Heartbreak High" even a real title? Sounds fan-made. Like "Supernova (Get High)."
-
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - '10 X 10.'
-
Of course not! He's too quirky...and, I mean, he did bring it for the class to enjoy.

You should listen to some staples/fan-favorites first, and choose from their where to start exploring her substantial discography. :3 Try out 'Fidelity' or 'Better,' 'Hotel Song' and 'Summer in the City' to get a feel for Begin to Hope, and 'Eet,' 'Blue Lips,' and 'Dance Anthem of the 80s' to start off on Far. I would suggest 'Sailor Song,' 'Us,' and 'Chemo Limo' as starters for Soviet Kitsch. For her latest, I guess listen to the singles...it's pretty eclectic, but the best song is def. 'Jessica.' And then, if you wanna be a really big fan, check out the first two albums - 11:11 and Songs. I'd recommend 'Braille,' 'Love Affair,' 'Samson,' 'Prisoners,' 'Buildings,' and 'Sunshine.' If you need help with anything, just ask.

Today, one of my classmates brought a cookie cake into class to celebrate his birthday, and it had a bright blue bow on it. He insisted it was 'not edible,' but I tasted it, and I deduced that it seemed like it was a mix of something like fondant, corn syrup, and sugar. Just to spite his ignorance, I ate the whole thing, and it momentarily stained my lips and teeth bright blue! I immediately thought of "Blue Lips," and remembered the brilliant bridge, where she gives a mini-history of the Jewish people...just genius.

Yadi - 'The Blow'

That's a fascinating way to describe it. My faves from that mixtape are almost undoubtedly 'Moments In Love' or 'Dance For You,' but I think they're all really strong tracks, epsecially since she apparently composed them during a week she was touring.
-
Omigosh guys..."Take My Hand" is pure euphoria.
-
I can't wait to hear the album in HQ...I mean, studio versions are great, but LQ mp3 rips from Pitchfork don't really count.
-
Okay, thanks. I bet Paul Epworth or the producer of the whole album did the standard version, then....very curious to see how it turns out.
-
Yes, exactly. And yep! The mixtape version is really similar to the album, though, and I bet the demo is too.
-
Almost crying at how beautiful the studio version of 'Lock You Up' is, and it's not even as good as I hoped.

ANOTHER ONE?!?!?!??!???!?
