Umm....well I don't know exactly, it was mentioned in more than one of her radio interviews also, and she recommended the book in one of her magazine interviews, I remember someone even shared links to it when it happened....I think the interview was one of those Los Angeles interviews where she talked a lot about the people in there about metaphysical stuff, after that flood happened. Plus, - maybe someone else remembers this too - there was this one interview where she talked about loving to take walks and just meeting random people and hanging out with them. In that she said that she set an intention to meet up with someone interesting, and she said that you have to trust that the universe will meet you halfway, or something like that, and then it will happen. That book mentions similar things. Could be of course I said not getting them because of those lyrics "I just can't understand it"

Never Let Me Go Vs Last Girl On Earth

Although the comment is really old, if you want I can tell you about this. Lana is familiar with these concepts and is aware of them, but only shallowly, she doesn't get them. Can't use them. It's even talked about in one of her lyrics, I think it's from Starry Eyed: "They say make Lemonade out of lemons I tried but I just can't understand it" And if you look at the way she acts, like holds grudges etc. she really does not get it. She talked about this interest of her in interviews and she did read the book "Ask and It is given", which is a book written by the person speaking in that video.

ARTPOP is such a great song, I'm really curious what the final version will be like. I liked her "dancing" through the performance. MANiCURE is her most relatable song to date, those lyrics are alike, soooo true. And It really does sound great! Jewels and Drugs has such great high energy! I really like it, I'm listening to the gaga-only version of course tho The only one I didn't like was Swine, it's so ...eh...

Am I the only one who doesn't really hear anything in those rehearsal videos? Like, everybody is freaking out about how awesome the songs sound, but all I hear is noise and some drums I just need to wait and listen to the HQ versions today. I do like that she is not doing hardcore dancing now. Great, that's it girl, focus on the vocal delivery for once.

So true! As long as her songs sound amazing, her videos are flawless and her photoshoots are beautiful I'm happy, who cares what is she like in real life. Sure it might be interesting, but the emphasis should be on her work.
