  1. It sounds like one of those acoustic demos recorded by Lana herself on her computer with a beat loop in the background. It's probably the demo version (I'm guessing because the way the background piano sounds is similar to her BTD demo tracks). Lyrics are not really bad (although I hear no melody -she's literally reading the words). I'm trying to imagine how those two male rappers gonna mess this song up with their unnecessary verses.
  2. G-Easy when he asks Lana if she has something to drink & she says "yes, would you like some pepsi cola?" (& there is no pepsi cola in the fridge)
  3. Stevie Nicks when she asks Lana if they can be witchy sisters & lana says "I already have a sister"
  4. "So, now I’ve decided that if I’m going to live in the “W,” then we’re going to be like witchy sisters, so I have taken on a new name: Marina Del Rey. " um... I don't really get the joke. Why would she call herself Marina Del Rey when her first name is Stevie? Shouldn't it be like Stevie Del Rey or something? Nevermind tho.
  5. I think it is the July edition. We should get the interview along with the photoshoot today tho.
  6. Yeah, it was good & we got some new song titles too, I guess? & it was cute to watch them praise each other after every line & hear about Courtney's view about how she met Elizabeth Taylor & how she set real palm trees on fire for her 1998 'Malibu' video in & how they'll settle in London after retirement! Now I'd rather have Stevie Nick & Lana talk about how they're "here to lighten life, lighten like lanterns & fairy lights to keep people going" than a professional interviewer ask factual questions about her upcoming project which is out in less than a month.
  7. her hairstyle & make up looks similar to the pbotoshoot she did with V magazine the last time but with a completely opposite atmosphere. There are Cherry Blossoms/Bougainvilleas compared to the noir-like & gloomy aesthetic the last time. Interviewed by Stevie Nicks? then I don't think we gonna get factual details & solid info about the upcoming album but more of that 'life of an artist & how we influence the generation' shit.
  8. "Lana Del Rey #shotbyklein for @vmagazine Animation art @bessnyc. thank U Stephan Gan for your inspiration!"
  9. Since Lana's photoshoot by Steven Klein for V magazine will be out this week, should I expect a new interview too?
  10. ... but she's a rapper herself & rappers build a career on collabs.
  11. I bet irl Lana is the one who likes to be tied & all not the guy, lol.. but yeah, you made me visualize a dim-lit room with that scenario & Lana riding on the beats to White Mustang - damn! (I wish my younger sister never joins Lanaboards )
  12. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k20h5VgE_ds I didn't think I would say it but this edit makes me kinda interested in Daisy Chains.
  13. Maybe it was inspired by Donald Trump - he prefers incomplete sentences & meaningless phrases too.
  14. Yeah, you're right that if she worked RBFY with the producers who did the rest of the songs on LFL (with the bass, drums & synthesizers all) it wouldn't really sound good since this album has a different sound & production. BUT.. if she reworked it for a film or something with etheral instruments like piano & orchestra (like Bel Air or Young & Beautiful or smthing) it might look fine & fitting as a background music for a film scene! (do you remember the scene in Great Gatsby where Y&B starts playing & everything turns so dreamy?). Different kind of songs require a different kind of production.
  15. ... aaand the upcoming studio version of Cherry
  16. If she does a Cherries MV, I would love to see her playing a witch & making potions & all like in the movie 'The Love Witch (2016)', but in a less campy & more cinamatic manner tho!
  17. Oh so you called me a 'pretentious entitled hipster' for calling the autontuned-multilayered-rapp-featuring snippet 'generic'. Cool! Btw, singles ARE important because that's all those music sites & radio gonna talk about until the album releases & people who are not a die-hard-lana fans, unlike us, view the upcoming project. We've have had enuff bops this year.
  18. Okay, we can have it as a filler on the album, no prob. We have 16 fuking tracks. But do you think it's a very sensible choice to release the kind of music everybody is doing these days (that too allegedly with a rapp collab.) as the next single for an album she spent so little time promoting? Can't we have an another one which represents what Lana is famous for - depth? Isn't this where our little argument begin in the first place?
  19. 'Ridin' & all those unreleased bops u mentioned above were from or before BTD era when she used to have a glam persona, themes & storylines .. *when she was doing music for herself not for her fans*
