Although I do find Ben's post badly worded, he has a point. Why do we care about Lana's promo? I know it is nice for us to see our good sis climb the charts, but overall it is all about us enjoying her music personally. I have always thought that Lana wanted to stay out of the spotlight, and therefore it makes sense that she doesn't want major promo. Also we complain about lack of promo but really we have a lot? For example, the festivals, trailer, radio premiers and music videos. Yes it is not as much as other artists but like Ben said, Lana isn't fame hungry. In a way I feel like the way how Lana is promoting herself right now is all about her fans. For example, she tells us the release date on Twitter which her fans will see first. Coachella - Woodstock was released like a special surprise gift for her fans. Her trailer had a lot of references to her fans, as did the Love MV. Maybe she wants to keep the release low-key because it makes it more exclusive for her fans. And honestly you all get so frustrated, when really music is meant to be cathartic. The album will come in time, and it is not healthy to get very obsessed over it. In the meantime, enjoy Lana's previous records and chill. Worse things could be happening

Me too sis The world is such a nasty place sometimes. I always think that it is okay to have this sadness stay with you, but not control you. I try to think about all the good things people have done in response to this incident - adults protecting kids at the incident, people supporting campaigns to find lost other lost people. Things like that restore my faith in humanity. Also doing very kind things for other people yourself can really help your own sadness and the sadness of others I find. But if course it is okay to feel sad, just don't let it be the start of a spiral. There is a lot of beauty and joy in the world too

I love her! My faves are East of Eden, High and Sweet Ophelia. Also, I cannot beleive she is working with Dan! The Black Keys are soooo good and maybe this will be her UV album. Also he aesthetic is so pretty

If it does come Friday, when will it be released? Is it normally released in the early hours of the morning NZ time? Or is it done randomly? I haven't been around for any other Lana album releases.

Maybe Lana didn't want to confirm an album date because she thought it would bring her fans together, as they would be speculating about it. Or maybe she just wanted to watch some meltdowns.

I am really excited for a new album. I am a new fan so it will be my first time seeing a release.

Yeah I didn't like the sound of it, the lyrics were repetitive and bland too. The whole thing just felt really flat to me. But still I think it is nice that Lana got to collab with Abel on her album, as they are clearly friends. After hearing the Cherry snippet, I think there will be much better songs to look forward to on the album!
