  1. Seeing Paradise on the lowest spot of people's rankings.
  2. I'm just putting this out there, and I don't want to be accused of being 'ungrateful, this is purely just wishful thinking. For LDR6, I want it to be this way: - Lyrics: I really want the lyrics to be very picture-esque. A teacher of mine described a poet as being the same as an artist, except poets use words to paint a picture in your mind instead of using oil paints on a canvas. I really want strong Lizzy Grant/UV lyrics like "I have a disco ball mind" (Pin Up Galore), "I keep my lips red to seem like cherries in the spring" (Black Beauty). Very visual with lots of adjectives. None of this short, simple and sparse lyricism. - Aesthetic: Let's be real, the aesthetics of this era were out of whack and completely mix and match. The thing I adore about Lana's music is the clear aesthetic she portrays throughout the artwork, lyrics, photoshoots etc. Was this era witchy? Was this era space themed? Hippie-ish? Fuck knows. For the next album I want to know exactly what the themes are. - Music: I loved how experimental Lana was this era, how she incorporated folk music with pop, and with hip hop. Not many artists can do that. However, I think there were too many collabs and too much going on all in one sitting. It would be nice if next time she'd limit collabs to two people, and maybe just stick to one genre or perhaps for example if she wants to carry on doing pop, but have some songs a sub genre of pop like dream pop or bubblegum pop etc.
  3. PREACH. that look is so incredibly beautiful, one of my all time favorite aesthetics.
  4. Omg just a few minutes ago I was trying to find this exact snippet! I'm not sure if it's Lizzy Grant..sounds like some kind of warm up sessions during the recording of UV
  5. I tried to find the snippet but it was on China.Palaces old insta acc that got taken down, but it was this amazing orchestral snipppet that sounded horror-like.
  6. That tiger snippet was everything. I really wanna make a LDR6 thread
  7. I think Heroin is definitely one of those songs where you have to listen to it more than a few times to really appreciate it all. I didn't like it at first but it grew on me a lot.
  8. Lana is confusing me so much this era lol
  9. I feel like it's an album she made to please everyone else. Not just the fans but the media, critics etc. Even if it's not obvious but I too get the vibe that Lana isn't that connected to it.
  10. Not only that, but the festival performances sounds really crap. The instruments constantly drown out her vocals.
  11. Why perform at a huge event like Lolapalooza only to sing the same old songs like...
  12. If she doesn't sing solo TNC so help me God.
  13. I can see myself having hardcore sex to Old Money. jk
  14. In the order the songs played in: I drop it like it's hot on the pole Perhaps it is the colour of the sun caught flat and covering Smacked up again behind the door Well come along and walk with me My eyes are a baptism I need an easy friend She's made of hair and bone and little teeth A little room on 7th street is getting cold Soft tears fall in the night.
  15. Guys keep it one playlist per post please.
  16. Honestly this should be what the song is about cause that sounds awesome af.
