When I saw her live in December she literally changed Jim to Joe when she was singing HTD. Thank you for pointing that out! Also, the first time she teased HTD was in October, which is supposedly when they were together and it sounded unfinished (it was just piano and we know that the song has a different instrumental). It was probably partly inspired by him. We know that she added some extra songs, maybe she wrote a few when they broke up?

The Joe she writes about.... could it be the Joe Schilling she told everyone to stop sending rats to? That she was speculated to have dated?? She said when that happened that the fanbase knows when something is off.. Edit: I could absolutely be reaching, but she seems to have dated him as early as October (she told a fan that she was visiting her boyfriend in Boston that was coaching and it seems liike they could've possibly broken up in October as well. She announced the poetry book in September I believe. Maybe it's possible that we haven't gotten the book yet because she had new things to add and write about. And also, IF the poetry book is somehow linked to NFR, it could affect the release? I honestly don't even know if what I'm saying is making sense. I'm so sleep deprived

I HAVE to stop doubting Lana. I honestly thought Hope was going to be awful from the snippets, but it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I also was extremely unsure about HIAB and thought it was a lil corny, but when I tell you that I can't stop listening to the most recent snippet.. it's just so Lizzy. I can just tell that this album is going to give me everything I need.

I think I'll probably love her forever. Really. I have gone through many phases of stanning artists that I no longer care about but she has been a constant through all of that. If NOTHING else, I became a fan of her's back in 2011 when I was in 7th grade and her music has completely shaped who I am and my life in general and it's been there for me when I've had no friends and when I've gone through hard times. So I think I will always care for her a lot. I am literally living in NYC with a man 18 years older than me. That would definitley not be the case if I hadn't discovered Lana during my most influential years lmao.

This is off-topic but I've been listening to Ultraviolence a lot lately. I was a sophomore in high school when it came out and I don't think I was able to appreciate it like I should've, but I ilstened to it high the other day and it's truly a masterpiece. No shade to Honeymoon (kind of), but it never ceases to amaze me that THAT'S what followed up Ultraviolence. Nothing in between. If NFR tops UV we've got a classic on our hands.
