For me it seems that she reversed Ultraviolence themes. For example, if UV is the "real" history (she followed a religious sect) now with HM she's the "cult leader', she is no longer the victim. While songs like Money Power Glory and Fuck My Way are sarcastic response of what media says about her she doesn't deny those things but instead she accepted what they say about her. But now with HBTB video she's finally full of their bullshit and is ready to take her revenge ( again she's no longer the victim).

I still like UV trailer better. I hate this cheap instagram filter with those colors but the imagery is interesting

How her label even allowed Honeymoon to be released when she recorded a song as good as Freak. I like Honeymoon and TLY but they aren't single material and we all know that

I can't explain my love for Freak. It's been such a long time since I didn't fall in love with a Lana song as soon as I hear for the first time. Just with this preview I love it so much

I think she just used this old footage she did last year with Neil and mixed with Honeymoon new footage. Just like she did with Paradise trailer ( she used some SS footage)

Exactly. Her audience is used to listening before buying an album, we're not in the 90's anymore. They will torrent her shit and in the end if her music is good enough to resonate with them they will buy it. That's how BTD still at BB 200 every week since 2012.

We're in 2015. As long as a new album doesn't leak two months earlier it's not that bad.

Leak is a good alternative to create some hype about this album. If it's good people who aren't interested right now might buy it

If she does take a long break it will be the end of her ( commercially). Right now her music doesn't seem to be really popular outside her fan base

Really good interview. She seems much more interesting than what RS or Guardian made her look like. Now we can end the "concept album" argument because according to her all her records are indeed concept albuns.

I think she has fairly chances to get that nº1 in the US. But in the UK she doesn't have any possibility

I think this album won't sell as much as UV in the first week but It won't flop. Florence and The Machine sold 137,000 in US and like Lana both are more "album singers" ( people buy more their albums than individual songs).

It's kinda crazy. Both songs sound very Lynchian, like soundtracks for a noir movie yet very raw and emotional ( and I love shit like this! it's basically why I liked her in the first place). I get the appeal and I think I understand what she is aiming for but for some reason I just can't get into. It's not really because the songs are boring or are bad but I think they have a very specific mood and maybe right now it doesn't fit mine.

Honestly I'm not excited as I was for Ultraviolence mostly because I can't get into TLY and Honeymoon but I know when get closer to the day of release I'll be freaking out.

Can you imagine a song titled Video Games to sound like a slow beautiful ballad ? I would never. One thing I learned from Lana is never judge a song by its name

I think it's just a preview. I don't think they'll review Adele's album who supposed to be released in november.
