Actually I think BJ is one of her best videos to date. Woodkid and Lana together can do no wrong. While we know how trashy she can be ( just listen some of her unreleased songs) I don't know if this image fits in this Lana presented to the public - a singer who is associated to the old hollywood glamour, singing about a wealthy lifestyle. I know that since Paradise ( and specially Ride video) she's been trying to disassociate her image from this "Glamour girl" thing and has been more "relaxed" about it, but there is a reason why H&M and Jaguar hired her and that's because this style fits her more than anyone. Not sure if a totally image change would be good now, but anyway I'm really excited about it

So do I. Impersonators, strippers, tattoo... it just too trashy. It seems that she wants to recreate the vision she had some years ago as Lizzie, this white trash american way of life from beat culture, not really sure how I feel about it. But I do hope it will turn out in something good

I'm really excited about how all these stories ( the Gogo Dancer, the spiritual part and the Bel Air ride) are gonna fit together in a coherent script for a video.

So I guess she's gonna shoot like she did in Born To Die & Blue Jeans but now it's going to be a short film instead of separate videos. I wonder why she doens't work with Woodkid anymore? This project seems much more appropriate for him than Anthony Mandler. Anyway, I'm really excited for this because I do love each one of this songs

I remember before BtD been released she described as "Bruce Springsteen in Miami" which sounds amazing but is the last thing that we can recall while listening to the record. So it's pretty sure to say that the producers had a huge influnce on it (otherwise I don't think that she would have ruinded Diet Moutain Dew like that) then I bet until they finish the new album will sound a lot different of what she has in mind.

This means the video will be homemade ( which I think is particularly great)
