That trip-hop sound will not just work for her anymore. Honestly I felt she was the first artist that mixed this two worlds perfectly but since BtD a lot of artist were inspired ( not really directly and in a very different way for each one of them) and now we have Lorde, MO, Jessie Ware, The Neighbourhood and so on ( even Katy Perry with Dark Horse") . It's not really new on pop music right anymore. The best thing she can do right now is to look for a new direction.

Idk have you listened the songs that @@lola posted? It sounds very "cinematic" and "noir", I could totally imagine Lana doing something like that ( not very different from Kill Kill, if you ask me). Guys.......Dan is a jazz producer. I mean, he's at The Black Keys but he won a Grammy as producer in his work for Dr John album, a jazz legend. She captioned a picture of her future album as "Future Jazz" + she's working with a producer who worked with jazz before: for me it sounds like a hint of what the new record it will sound like.

Ultraviolence it's gonna be less BtD and more AKA, that's what I hope for.

It makes sense if they decided to push back to autumn. How could she promote an album that is going to be released in May while on Tour? Her strongest market is Europe, I'm sure she will make some appearence at TV shows and radios, just like she did with BtD and Paradise ( or at least is what I expect for).
