Halsey just released a solo version single that's 4 years old and it flopped. lol Tonia should have been watching her daughter closely when Sky was a teenager. Quiting school for good, signing music contracts at 15.... Sky is delutional but look at her mom. Her mom should have pulled her ass back in school. My mom would have killed me with those kinds of shenanigans.

I think it happened already. Lana's new song. Long awaited though? I think it's Grimes. At least I pray it is because there's no way it's Sky. Marina? Melanie? Perhaps?

I hope so too because if the rest of the songs is the same ballady stuff from the last two albums, I'm done. AW showed promise in exploring a different more uplifting sound. The begining is so beautiful and powerful, then it's gets better with the coco puff part. I'm thinking I'm too old and outgrowing Lana, but I just got Paramore latest album and I love every song in it, so maybe I'm not too old? Maybe I'm just bored of Lana and the same ballad type songs she keeps doing. My ears perked up.

The Grants is boring. Just like the title track. So far, American Whore is the only good track. I'm honestly thinking of listening to the new album on Spotify and choose which song I like and buy the song off Amazon MP3 store. I know there's people here who are all about physical collection as I always buy Lana's music on CD's, but Lana is no longer an artist I feel that's worth buying a physical copy of an album. For one, she doesn't put the lyrics in the album art like most artist do. And I mean ALL THE LYRICS not just partial lyrics or lyrics to one song. Like print all the lyrics so people can have it and don't have to run to Google to find lyrics that is usually written wrong. Aside from AW, these 2 songs are dreadfully boring. Since we know she's not adding any lyrics in the booklet for this album, two out of the 3 songs released are the same boring sound she's repeating from Chem and BB, I'm not buying a physical copy of her music anymore. So far, I will be purchasing AW on Amazon. Will wait for the full album release and listen to the rest on Spotify to see what song I buy. That's just me. Maybe I am growing out of Lana's music? Maybe I'm bored of her?

I have a feeling even if she was "free" from Capitol and independent, she still would pull tricks like this. The problem is she thinks she's in the same level as Madonna. She's not. See, this is the problem with Lana. She refuses to print her lyrics in her album booklets / credits. She only did that for her first album but for damn shame, she never did it again. She mumbles on many of her songs and I have no idea what she's saying. Then fans interpretate and it's all wrong.

The whole thing makes me cringe. LIke girl, sing your music without all the gimmicks and get up. Last time she was playing the character of a kindergardner for like 8 years. Now it's some weird alien shit. Gaga and Grimes play around with weird looks and everything but the music they put out always spoke for itself and they always looked cool with their weird getups.

I agree, I mean look at all the poor quality music videos Chuck does for Lana. Then there's barely any promo for Lana from her label and yet she streams and sells well despite that. I feel like Sky wants a full promo with red carpet and all and that's not gonna happen. If you read some of her Playboy interview, it's like she feels she's entitled to the red carpet roll out. Screw the roll out. Just release the music.
