Some of the posts from a few days go were depressing to read. I stopped reading and skipped to the present once I started agreeing with some of the criticism ._. ANYWAY, Last year two artists I generally like released mediocre 18/17 track albums (The Weeknd-Starboy and Frank Ocean- Blonde). Ever since then I've been weary of long track listings lol but I have more faith in Lana tbh I can't imagine her putting out a subpar album by our standards I really hope Architecture is on there and a better version of Coachella- Woodstock In My Mind

I guess it really depends how good the album is. When Ultraviolence came out, I thought the Honeymoon era came too soon because I still was listening to UV a lot. Same thing happened with Honeymoon (but I enjoyed HM, I know a lot of people didn't. Also, Lana's albums feel timeless plus we have a ton of unreleased songs. I never get bored when she's not promoting tbh

should we make a hashtag to promote the song tomorrow?

Would have been nice if she released LFL (song) a few days and then with the MV coming out tomorrow, I bet the song would have gotten more attention that way

It wouldn't be a surprise to fans but to the gp it could be? maybe?. Since there is no ~official~ release date, they could advertise it as "LANA DEL REY DROPS LUST FOR LIFE ALBUM OUT OF NOWHERE" or something. It's a reach and probably won't happen though lol

A "surprise" release would be great for steaming numbers right? A lot of new random people will give it a chance because everyone would be talking about it.

I called my local target and they thought I was asking if LFL was currently in stock. They then told me the album comes out May 26th. I then asked if they will have it in stock May 26th, and the employee said yes. But like everyone is saying, maybe they are assuming it'll be in stock because it usually would be.
