i've been real apprehensive on where her music'll go next, not because of shortage of talent, but how careful she is w her art (another good thing). btd's the eager rookie, paradise was validated. uv comes from betrayal. honeymoon was a grand fuck you. lust for life was a forgotten treaty, nfr a safe place. chemtrails, a renewing nature hike and blue banisters, the facing of her inner work and trying to have that neatly boxed away. as someone who personally has a hard time showing happiness so much, i get how Lana might be the same way w her music. and it translates w her themes. i think it might be too much to ask for something so brightly jovial, in fact, she does this in doses, but i do hope that she shares some parts of her coming back to the self. there's a lot of material that she could easily compose a record with, but i appreciate that she's taking a lot of time to sort of work on other projects. just listening to the bb title track's heart wrenching enough. so imagine the depths she's had to make herself get accustomed to, to come back out again. it's important to not stay in one narrative for so long that it ends up being your entire identity, and i hope that her last cycle's been mostly shed for her to bring a certain freshness for her, that she might also be able to share w us thru her music.

chemtrails is kinda like fall, in how lots of things change, and she's sorta nearing the awareness of her inner stuff. she released herself from that, or at least started to w bb imo.

we need a spring album.

it's incredibly distressing but best we can do like most times is to just keep calm and keep informed. we need balance, hoping it gets back to being maintained. if or when it might get to the local level, let's not treat each other like trash either, we all know it just leads to headaches. hope any users on here potentially affected are safe.

it's real disheartening to think how utterly petrifying this all is. when u think about it, america was seen as the superpower of the world, and as complicated as it might seem, the nation was once a beacon of unity that u could sort of tie into the symbolism of a lot of countries mingling and making a home in, like a focus group for earth. i'm not all too well versed in war since it's just something that we're lucky to not know so intimately among other things, but the idea of immigrants coming from everywhere to build the lives of THEIR own choosing. it's so profoundly strange how the seas rupture and blockade things down to behaviors and customs. i've never really known the east so much, but from the stories i've heard from older folk, and what they've gone thru, the east, north and south of it, have always treated their people less than how people should be treated. their own. it's for dominance and control. and it's utterly selfish. it's naive to think that this is far from over, he's been picking about getting what the union lost. and when they're pried back. let's just not take our freedoms for granted. it's incredibly delicate, hoping something withstanding can be reinforced. the rest of the world doesn't even want this.
