  6. cant get into text book w/o thinking of sean wearing that gold hot potato suit which maybe he really did go a bit crazy and really loved her but that's what I think about when listening to text book especially the second verse its horrible to think about it's a shame cus its a great song, the change at the chorus yes yes. but WC still tops.
  7. shhhhhhhhhhhh imagine if the rest of the songs are BETTER. mhm yup exactly u know what u know what I'm thinking exactly think about THAT mhm YUP.
  8. what im wondering about is the nature of why she released three. it seemed like an act of self-cleansing even detaching from the material w the group release. so would that mean the rest of the tracks'll be happier? excited for the video.. gives me pawn shop blues vibes
  9. it reminds me of nina simone actually. she loves/d him but not for that. and she's having/had regrets, and she wish she broke her daddy issues and the fact that it turned out different set her free she was low, but then she woke up in self awareness to what really mattered and the illusion broke and she wanted to see her father like bc she realized a lot and she thought that seeing her dad after all these realizations was a completion of a cycle or that splendor could be sarcastic and bc she glorified him as a figure she wishes she never had to realities that he's just human which parallels how difficult to be woken up past the spotlight set on one's self so she's saying she's changed. it was uncomfortable, to the point of no reconciliation and it's heartbreaking like a montague and capulet situation in how its now forbidden to her own value set and she wishes she could rewrite how things were with him that he'd change that she could re-write that which is why its titled textbook. and another thing in how textbooks are objective in their facts, but it's difficult actually living thru it so the title sort of hommages that concept. ohmygod i need sleep but i think I've encapsulated it better now it makes sense I win imma sleep now
  10. blue banisters like the complexity of actually letting someone affect n hurt you and what that might mean
  11. Lana really said, put the kids to bed w WW
  12. here's the deal here's the deaaaaaaal
  13. nah everyone's gonna be praising wildflower wildfire in the future. the pacing. the fluctuating tones. maybe its just me but the looseness of the tracks just get me more engaged n riled easier w/o the need of pretenses than feeling lazy towards it. so good. just imagine taunting a lover w suggestions to it, so enabling. it's just a bit more subtle to the ear, which makes it even more intimate when or if. u catch up to it. the menacing piano's just so good for it. others were making fun of hope, but it's shaped into her hallelujah. woman's gonna grow on everyone more too. burnnnnn buuuuuuuuurn buhhhhuuuhhhhhrrhhhrrrnnnnnn this is cruel world's older brother
  14. their looseness in production makes it easy to sing along to and move physically along to. it's potent and rustic. ww sooooooo fhuckin sensual. bb is very beautifully careful and tb is a sonically smoother coachella
  15. they're all amazing. bb romantic intimacy ww sexual intimacy tb neighborly intimacy
  16. wildflower wildfire is such a sexy orgasm of a song. the protectiveness. the capability. the restraint. the hidden power. the strength. the sexy drunk deep vocals. the tempo. with OHHHHHNLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYY MY SMILE AND NOTHING THAT HURTS HAAAAA HAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAA it's an assured caressing hold
  17. Blue banisters will make lonely lovers feel less lonely in the future. no I KNOW this
  18. white dress and blue banisters: an intersection of love and work nd the journey of finding ur true equal
  19. i'm sorry but blue banisters. there's a sharp ache about a woman wanting children and a family and not getting it. she's actually hinting so much at how she's a bit unsettled and even a little envious about it. so graciously vulnerable so well written, and the production is perfect for it. the pianos remind me of a softened urgency similar to fiily's synths and beats like needing an answer back from a love confession. the banisters are perfect. haven't listened to the others yet. but this is beautiful. a new emotional reveling space. it's a delightful void. like she just wants true solid love and a family of her own u know? but she's making peace with not having it. it's a damp strength.
  20. paaaaaaa heeeh heeeeeeaaaaaaint paaaaaeee eeyyy eeyyyyyy eeeeaaaaaaaaiiiiint
