it's because her face is swallowed in the photo. the most visually popping thing about the selfie is her hair looking like pan-fried noodles. which hey yes noodles, but how she's fixed up n accessorizing leads to think that she wanted a more tailored and put together look. and on the left, the lighting of the view from behind. from the lighting, the subject matter. the lack of atmosphere furthered from the inside of a 2010's to modern'd car interior selfie (disproportionately cropped imo). she's swallowed in it. I'd understand the fluidity that she might be going for but because of the similar tones, it just cancels each other out. 'get the possible hypersensationalism w the closeness of the shot, but it would've looked A LOT better even if the photo was zoomed a bit out to give proper spacing for the album title n her name. w that being said. I do just get single cover vibes the most. I personally LOVE chemtrails' original cover. but. the positioning's just thin sinew of what we know she's capable of and the lack of any more effort is a bit disheartening

I think BB'll be a lot more ambient than WD even. in fact i'm hoping that it will be. I do think Jack'll be able to do that well. i've no other expectations atm. cocc just came out n i'm more than happy enjoying it more while we wait. i do think another update wouldnt hurt tho edit: ty to whoever shrunk the gif, idk why they're so large n I don't wanna rezise n imgur ALL of them

smthing sweet n sour pls! / I think what's made the quick release is how cocc's been finished for quite a while now. the vinyl production needed to sate the business aspect of the record rollout. so that's probably the main reason as to how she's able to move so quickly imo

something in how the promo or lack thereof makes it just feel like a forgotten or at least distant project. if she were to follow thru, it'd probably just be followed up-with or announced properly even first. she seems to be preoccupied w her other stuff going on regardless
