  1. I honestly hope that she does something that stands out a bit softly, so yesss colors. Idk why but I'm always just reminded of Because of You, or the psychedelic solo from My Best Days, and how playful it is compared to the snippets we got. Sure they're not the same, but that's what I get from te tracks, and the HiaB original video
  2. Legend says, everytime March 29th is mentioned but not officially confirmed, a gay's orgasm dies.
  3. Watch it have no vinyl. WATCH IT JUST B DIGITAL. Is invisible a color.. .?
  4. Upfront, where the hell is everyone getting the dark green ideas from aside from the website and her (was it cancelled; really dk) performance at a castle round her birthday.... was it the MAC single cover that looked sea-fogged? A warmer green like the one she wore for the Gucci campaign seems a lot more plausible, which is pretty similar to how less dark the VB single cover was, but that's string theorizing.. and as someone who likes and professes Cinnamon so much, how decadent it is, with how the snippet mentions all these colors, why wouldn't u want some fun, excluding the watermelon bit. Album's still being produced by Antonoff, which is an indicator of one of the most pop-piest, mainstream producers out there that was still pretty much a shock to this fanbase. Aside from fun speculation, I do think it'd be great to have pink. It can be euphoric and passionate too, kinda like how the light blares thru your eyelids when you have them closed, while you're feeling the sun on your skin etc. I really wanna know how the dark green idea came up. I mean made a thread w a neon green vinyl idea along w pink and orange, but that's because I thought it'd be cool to really enhance that groovy vibe I was getting from VB so yeah
  5. If she adds sand grain textures from it, maybe but also lol wtf don't shit on pink
  6. Lol yes Idk I'm the one who kinda started or talked a lot about the vinyl being pink, bc it started w the lowkey psychedelic, druggy (even groovy) vibes from VB, how gay upfront sounding the title is for HiaB, and as well as Cinnamon. Also, how playful yet sad the lyrics are from the songs and snippets we've heard so far it's a color that reflects of hope (like the promo single), and is still inspiring but still warm, can b youthful (- sounding like the bridge of HiaB), but pretty strong bc of how unique it'd look, playful and loving (again kinda like the lyrics we've gotten so far), without being too in your face like a bright red, and can somehow be masculine in feel bc of it, similar to how she sounds so assured in MAC, while still keeping her feminine charm that we know her for. Based it's interest a lot behind the warmth of the HiaB snippets, and the 8mm vibe snippets from the VB video. Also thought that if she were to use something similar to the one industrial-looking photo of her sitting like a female Robin Hood, with the colors of tan and sky blue, and fake warmth, lack of depth of the photo, how well a shade of pink for the special version of the vinyl, would somehow reflect a subtle nod to skater/ alt-rock surfer vibes that she said she was going to deliver w ANNNNNNNNND I know that it's not up to us, but wouldn't another color variant of her vinyl be amazinnnnngg
  7. In an excerpt from Lana's book, "Why You should never date the frontman, and why you should always date the Bassist", on page 666, it reads, "Churches have bassists too".
  8. HIAB'S GONNA BE THE GAYEST SONG I CAN FEEL IT LISA FRANKS WOULD B PROUD
  9. OHMYGODDDDD LMFAAOOOO YES DO ITTTTTT !!!! ! ! RIUGBRSIVBERAUOGFHSAOFBISADJBbfiuwBIubOIBIUGWREBGFUAIERB
  10. Lust for Cacciatore?? Norman Fucking Cacciatore?!!? Let's paint all the vinyls PINNNNNNNNNNNK
  11. Honestly this is difficult, like being raised religious, but idk also, being gay, and trying to find that kind of balance can be a fucking hell. and it's really hard to see both sides, but not them come together. It gets me sad just thinking about it. Off topic, was the Troye Sivan movie any good? I remember watching that movie w Sigourney Weaver and that was a tearjerker.
  12. 1. No opinion, really depends on the photo that'll be used. 2. I honestly wouldn't mind an industrial cover, beach site, with her red ringer tee from the HiaB video, that kind of UO Jolly Rancher w value, kinda feel. I hope it doesn't contain much of brown, and is a warmer cover, something a lot like the HM single cover, in that palette. Something that'll give a cool, but still summery and groovy psychedelic vibe, that plays off how playful yet intentful and intimate the record is. 3. Thinking about it, I think it'd be cool if she had a slight smoulder, or if not, have a beautiful candid shot of her smiling. Or, still candid, have a meaningful glance. 4. I. Hm. I don't care as much really as to who shoots it, but it's got to not look like a photoshopped, faceswapped kinda pic. The Galore mag was something she shined in, and the HM cover too imo, but if material's gonna be gurgled and backwash'd like the videos we got, and poorly, well that'd be an issue.. LSD, Summer, lots of colorful colors this time, but grounded. I'm thinking a lot along surfy lines. So like the Pink Motel/ Sunken City vibes, with rich lighting that plays with depth and dimension well (something that doesn't look flat), and something just overall peculiar, but still balanced. Not forced to feel aged already, but something that simmers well, but still has that it factor that'll grab attention of shallow peeps who aren't her fans to really think, oh shit wow she was the queen of aesthetic before, I'll give her a try again. I'm thinking these vibes: with a mix of but obviously less catalogue, and more naturalistic and artsy in feel. Lust for Life cover, looking at u, never again.
  13. I'm not even fucking joshing you, but can u ask what it'll be, and will the vinyl be pink?
  14. Wtf ur rite tho Thank u, I feel a little less crazy knowing someone else thinks the same thing about the country songs. No offense, but yea
  15. In these dark times, it's difficult to really trust Gem, but yeah hope ur right. Not to sound like an ass, bc I do love RBFY, but doesn;t it kinda remind you of the two country songs she played you know what I'm just gonna stop talking right now before the thread changes gears and direction towards yeah I'll stop right there
  16. Title. As a disclaimer and also bc I lowkey dislike it when threads recycle topics and (I'm) consciously aware that I might be doing that just now but not exactly. Since NFR's coming out, what kind of imagery do u see when it comes to listening to Lana's albums? Btd, Paradise even, UV, HM, LfL, and Norman Fucking Rockwell (based off of MAC and VB, Hope and the snippets) Be as lengthy as you'd like. March 29th isn't coming til after Feb, storytelling time etc. I'll probably add in to this post later on, or another in this thread but. Try to not think of specific tracks, but more of the albums as a different whole. Born To Die: I think of crocodiles for some reason (probably bc of Blue Jeans), snow, winter nights in the city, movement of people and traffic, traffic lights spec red yellow and green, and just running around being chased by a summer love. Light streams and being in the camera's focus while everything else surrounding you is moving in a faster motion Paradise: infinity pools, an eerie quiet during the day. Canyons and the desert during sunset time. Lots of flowers dancing on a mountainside in healthy sunlight. Liquor. The color turquoise. Feeling safe in someone else's eyes, fireworks and dive bars, afterhours and neon motel signs. Cigarettes and how they smell Ultraviolence: gets me thinking of cologne, looking at beach/coast photos taken in black and white right after sunset. Vegas, more neon signs, dirty bars, and how they can smell awful but doesn't repel u still. Violet and orange flowers, lakes filled with red wine. Electric guitars, rockstars shirtless and their beads of sweat glistening through the stage lights. Yellow dim lit hotel rooms, and looking across other black buildings with tiles of rooms lit in different colors at night. Living in black and white, soft bleach blonde hair https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxYceZpTWaE Honeymoon: hibiscus stamens, mafiosi Italian men with attractive scars on their faces and bodies. Black suits, white shirts. Waiting by the pool in the summer heat to just tan. Old Hollywood and the strip during the day and night, and how it contrasts. Blue skies and pink milkshakes, bookstores and iced tea, fighting with your boyfriend til he finally gets rude with u but you like it when he does. Pretty vintage, vhs quality porn w a plot, citrus notes in cologne. Hawaii https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFnDavYARag Lust For Life: the Carpenters. Wuthering Heights. Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights video version 1, cold days, hiking up a neighboring hill, and watching how the skies bleed orange while being surrounded by grey storm clouds, and how the light touches everything all warm. Gets me thinking of either extreme heat or blistering cold, nothing really in between. Cherry pie at an Italian restaurant At the moment, Norman Fucking Rockwell: beach cities, and industrial sites. LSD and drugs and co. Monaco grand prix, the Mariah Carey Loverboy music video. Tall windows, marbled floors, staying inside when it's perfectly sunny outside. The color pink, pale violet, and light yellow - Pines, and strangely enough, her track Terrence Loves You . . . . Sound off!
  17. BUT. At least we know the video was originally for HiaB, and that the frames see her matching to the lyrics. and that's she got a soft spot for the track which I hope makes the record
