Maybe it's just bc summer's ending and all, but I'd really like to see what she can come up with if she combined some lingering summer feelings (last sunsets, driving while the skies'r purple, like laserbeam highly saturated colors) to then incorporate winter somehow, with softer tones, heavy on grey, some snow, lots of pastels. It's sort of like when you just know that everything's getting colder, that feeling, but the sun's still out and you're waiting for it to. Or like having a day without rain or snow after weeks of it, enjoying the warmth of the sun on your face while your breath still mists the outside. Then light green and how it echoes in the lights of subways, pepto bismol pink colored tiles in the shower. How the light chases you while you're driving away from sunsets, and you see the skies turn to a violent tangerine glow, and everyone's headlights start turning on, contrasted to how dark the asphalt is. Sharing smiles in the car. Listening to guitar heavy tracks, and soft jazzed voices. The frames of seeing someone's eyes all lit up through their back view mirror. Heated pools. The feeling of your last thoughts underwater til you run out of air and end up with a headache when you climb up from it. Rosie'd cheeks from the cold. Letting your hair fly free when the wind gets too wild. Shaggy, ambiguous continently-shaped rugs all soft contrasting to the tiles on the fireplace, rock walls and glass sliding doors, waking up in the late afternoon. I wonder and wanna know how Lana's new record might be able to supplement that.

Honestly, I'd think about her being some sort of cop or something. Like it'd be so different from what we're used to or expect

MAC is a bit more polished through lack of color, but VB is more on a softer feminine side. Idk which to choose atm if we even have to ah

WTF wut World at War's amazing. The sass in the beats and guitars, how the verses almost sway and twist its hips at u. I remember a lot of people were so f excited by the snippet. The intimate warbled vocals before how clear and transcendent the chorus goes. It reminds me of some kind of romantic Latin movie Have u ever heard the song underwater? Fucking amazinggg and that brief bridge

Idk what this exactly constitutes, but I think itd b amazing if Lana made more groovy music. I love the vibes MACs been giving off. Odds of her writing another song kinda like I Got U Babe by Sonny n Cher?

Didn't we already get the other version of Summer Bummer? I think if I was going to linger anything else about Lfl post era would be the Beautiful People demo. The lyrics alone just - and Idk if this'll aggravate anyone, but I personally love Get Free and Change. I mean shat on them at one point or another, but Change was beautifully delicate in one way or another, and the lyricism behind Get Free's phenomenal. AND i'm a sucker for the beach, so the aftersounds in the track, and the loose beat and slowness of it reminded me of that moment when the sun's bout to get eaten up by the sea, and the waters glisten all golden. Like the last solar flare for the eyes of the day. Wet and warm til ur not. Anyway, I'm glad MAC exists sorta thru this vein of her music.
