  1. True, it's just the fact that they're so vehemently opposed to leaks that they're willing to prosecute.

  3. imma bout to get ultraviolent if we don't get any news soon
  4. Born to Die Video Games This Is What Makes Us Girls (I liked it then hated it, now I like it again) Ride Every Man Gets His Wish Stoplight De-lite Golden Grill Boarding School Heavy Hitter Trash Magic Us Against The World Scarface (can't BELIEVE I used to hate it) Beautiful Player Your Band Is All The Rage So Legittt Baby Blue Love Put Your Lips Together BETTY BOOP BOOP Noir Bollywood Hawaii Come When You Call Me (A.M.E.R.I.C.A.) You Can Be The Boss I used to absolutely LOATHE the Sirens era music, I thought it was really dull. But then I gave it a proper listen and...wow. I much prefer it over BtD.
  5. I just feel that the lyrics from BtD are quite same-y and clumsy in comparison to her other older albums/unreleased stuff. I don't hate the album, I just feel that her other stuff is superior.
  6. I just wish Sky and her label weren't so againat leaks. If they hadn't prosecuted that leaker, we could have potentially have a leaked collection near the size of Lana's.
  7. Is there a topic anywhere which states which album each of the unreleased songs was intended for? I know we don't know the majority of them, but for example we know that Damn You was for BtD. Is there information anywhere which states which album the others were meant to be for? Thank yoi!
  8. "When’s the next album out? Whenever it’s done. I’m doing stuff now but I don’t know if it’s for an album. Just songs for different people." I wish she would leak her old albums, but I know how much she hates leaks, so it would probably never happen.
  9. It wouldn't make any sense for it to be the UV tour, since she hasn't said a word about UV or any singles whatsoever. The fact that the promotional posters are using the Paradise photo implies she's going to be singing from Paradise & BtD, but might drop in some 'exclusive' UV songs too.
  10. Since we're so sparse with the news, I just thought I'd post it anyway
  11. Chuck just posted the same photo as Lana on Instagram with the caption 'Scorpio x Gemini Collab'
  12. AKA is definitely near the top for me. Her voice sounds so beautiful and the lyrics are just amazing. I absolutely adore Sirens/From The End/Quiet Now too. These are the deepest lyrics I think she has ever written, it's a shame they were never released and she hasn't ever truly acknowledged this era. Paradise was okay to me, I enjoyed the cinematic feel of it. Born to Die was the worst album IMO. After listening to the others, I realised how much it pales in comparison.
  13. This is what I heard too, I think she called it 'The Ocean' originally, then was forced to change it as it was too 'dull'.
  14. Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to intrude! I just find her old posts like this hilarious and wondered if there were more.
  15. This is a bit of a weird question, but could someone link me to the photos of all of Lana's old Facebook posts? I mean the ones like this: They make me laugh so much, I just wanted to see what other ones there are. Thank you!
  16. i've been listening to her music since around april-ish 2012, but it was only about a month or two ago that i seriously started to love her music
  17. I didn't think the earthquake thing Rob posted was to do with the date?? I thought it was more to do with Rib basically saying how groundbreaking UV was going to be; similar to an earthquake. idk maybe I'm not looking into enough or something but that's what's I took
  18. I agree with what said earlier, I think Future Jazz is just like DOPE CINEMA, SURF NOIR, TROPICO, NASTY.
  19. I love her laptop recordings so much. In some ways, I actually prefer them to Born To Die (the album).
  20. !!!!!!!!!!!! we had some (sort of) news from billboard why are we not disussing and diseccting it
  21. ANYWAYS BACK TO UV DISCUSSION... I'm not too sure if this has already been posted, but apparently Billboard said the following about UV: 'We can expect Lana Del Rey's next album to debut very high in sales here on the Billboard 200. We could possibly see a visual album from Lana, or possibly a film entitled Ultraviolence, telling a story of the whole album' and compared Lana to Beyonce in terms of visuals and artistry. The podcast in which they said this all is here.
  22. Think she said in an interview that IBM could quite-possibly-near-definitely be the next single. 24 Hours and IBM could do so well, given the right promotion. Boys has a chance too, although it probably wouldn't do as well in the charts.
  23. OUAD is so haunting and Lana really made that song 'her' way, so I voted for that. I love Y&B a HUGE amount, but I think the lyrics are a bit clumsy sometimes; 'Oh that grace, oh that body/Oh that face, makes me wanna party'.
  24. I hope she doesn't pull a Beyoncé. I want to experience the suspense when she releases the tracklist and we guess what each of the songs are about. I want to countdown to when the singles and UV are released. Even though having to wait is so infuriating, I love the guesswork of things. So I hope she doesn't pull a Beyoncé.
  25. Ooh I forgot On Our Way. That's an adorable song, too.
