  1. I'd heard of Diet Mountain Dew before Lana but never drunk it cause it's not available here, but the other week I found Mountain Dew Lite or something like that in a store and bought it JUST because of the song. And I don't really like fizzy drinks, I only like them when they're flat. Flat coca cola =
  2. that was literally posted on this forum in the fan art section....
  3. Her hair here though...f*cking hell, it looks great:
  4. Do we know how long AKA was up for before Lana decided to take it down?

    Eliza Doolittle

"Eliza Sophie Caird, better known by her stage name Eliza Doolittle, is a British singer-songwriter. Her debut eponymous album was released on 12 July 2010, where it debuted at number three on the UK Albums Chart. Her second studio album, which is titled In Your Hands, was released on 14th October 2013. She is a fantastic singer and her music always sounds so summery! These singles were released from her first album: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxqtnWwLxYI www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzY0-I4Gq5w Whilst the following tracks are all from her second album: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqGx1lfyb6s‎ www.youtube.com/watch?v=18y8I6Pm2NU Twitter Facebook iTunes

    Book Thread!

I'm currently reading 'Ashes' by Ilsa J. Black, 'Half-Bad' by Sally Green, 'The Return: Shadow Souls' by L. J. Smith and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (for the billionth time!).
  7. Hollywood: Singing that one from Bolero Hand to my ass, we'll be flying in the wind I walk on water and I dance like Joplin

  9. It's fake, they're all lyrics from unreleased/released lama songs: Ocean Blues = Lana sings about oceans in her songs repeatedly Venom Kisses = Pretty sure there's a fanmade mix tape with this name? Fire and Ice = 'I got the ice, you got the fire' line from 1st demo of Dark Paradise Ultraviolence = Self-explanatory Kill Kill = Same again (I hope this one is true though) In Your Hands = ???? Not too sure Firecracker = 'They call me firecracker' line from Go Go Dancer J Bird = This is from a lyric, can't remember which one Undercover = ???? Dive= Similar to the ocean references Black Beauty = See Kill Kill
  10. I'm 99% sure Too Many Boys is the concept demo for Boys, especially because of the repeated phrase of 'diamond dozen' at the starts.
  11. Sorry to be crude, but this is the only way I could think to explain it: ride it in the sky = riding lana's bf dick = sex with him takes her above and beyond = she doesn't need a jet to go beyond = his sex his really good
  12. I don't think that's the album cover, it looks to me more like a standard placeholder than an actual Lana cover. Also, the cover was shot by Chuck, so Lana is most likely going to feature on it.

    Say Lou Lou

The new single, 'Everything We Touch' will be released on 18th May! You can listen to a sneak peek here. A rumoured tracklist for the album has also emerged: -Julian -Better In The Dark -Beloved -Everything We Touch -Peppermint -Skylight -Love Is The Loneliest Place -Nothing But A Heartbeat -Fool Of Me (ft. Chet Faker) -Maybe You (Bonus Track)
  17. Okay, I will admit that the Unicord Kid and Unknown Mortal Orchestra remix of EIE are really good. But the others...sub-par. I've heard the Johnny Danger one (bleurgh), but what's the other?
  18. it's probably the best Sky remix i've heard, all of the other remixes of her songs always butcher the original song imo
  19. I know what you mean, I got the vibe of that song when I first heard Love In Stereo, too. She loves 80s/90s stuff, so it's very likely that she listened to this (awesome) song as inspiration for the album. I kinda guessed about 24 Hours, it was supposed to be on Wild at Heart (I think it was that era?). It'd be cool to hear how different is sounds compared to the NTMT version. Same with YNTO, Boys and I Will. The unreleased track Too Many Boys is lyrically similar to the album version of Boys. NEW MATERIAL :air: :air: you can listen to Cid Rim Remix of YNTO here: https://soundcloud.com/skyferreira/sky-ferreira-you-re-not-the by https://soundcloud.com/skyferreira/sky-ferreira-you-re-not-the
  20. Mine is the day after Lana's, same day as Meryl Streep's
  21. OTTR Demo And I'm curious to how the other tracks on AKA sound in Lana's rerecorded voice.
  22. From the article: "Lana’s new album was rumored to be released on May 1 but right now we do not have an official date confirmed for Ultraviolet." "While tracks like “In The Sun,” “Put Your Lips Together,” and “Betty Boop Boop” seem polished, there are those unreleased tracks that sound like they were in the very beginning stages of creation for Rey’s Ultraviolence album."
  23. I'm super-pumped for the following albums: Marina and the Diamonds - TBA (date unknown) Sky Ferreira - Night Time, My Time B-Sides Part 2 (date unknown & release unconfirmed) Say Lou Lou - TBA (22nd September) Hunter Hayes - Storyline (6th May) Lana del Rey - Ultraviolence (1st May ?????????????) Ke$ha - Possible new album/music (unconfirmed release & date unknown)
