BTD is not similar to UV, UV is not similar to HM, HM is not similar to LFL, and LFL is like a combination of the 3 (in some songs) and also it has it's own style (tracks 6 - 11) I don't think the industry made her do it, she did it like that because she wanted to.

She also listens to blues, pop and rock (and kinda(?) jazz for the last one)

The only kinda forced bop on the record is In My Feelings and it's great, the other bops are there naturally because of her talent (Cherry, SB, GL, WM)

Tbh I think I like Heroin more than most of the UV songs, and now Cruel World is my #2 favorite Lana song. Ultraviolence works way better as a whole album though (something LFL is not very good at) So UV is still my favorite album by Lana

That stupid polish music store lied to us about two important things: Coachella not being included and the cover being changed to a new one (I think they also lied to us about this if I'm not wrong). Looking back, it was common sense. If it was released during the pre release phase of the album, of course it was going to be in it I did like the Coachella acapella snippet. I pictured it with a similar production like Love or Pawn Shop Blues, I don't know, something more decent. I have to admit that when Coachella came out, I was kinda glad she was testing other types of music, but it seems like Coachella is the opposite of a grower. Mess.

Same with 13 Beaches, I thought it was underwhelming. Some still think that about that song but it really grew on me. And then with Heroin I didn't think of it as the best song of Lana's career Lust For Life when I first heard it. Instead, I had the audacity of calling WTWWAW and BPBP the best songs of LFL but then I saw the light (good songs but not as good as Heroin )
