  1. I mean it's one of the best of LFL but the best song from her entire discography?
  2. I don't think production is exactly what makes a Lana Del Rey album. Like in 2014 when we found out Dan Auerbach would produce Lana's soon to be best album (imo) Ultraviolence. Many people including me thought an album with guitars and all of that wouldn't fit Lana's style (given that she had released Born To Die and Paradise, pretty different from what we would hear). But it worked anyway, I think we can at least give her the benefit of the doubt because it's not like it will sound like a Lorde album or a Taylor Swift album or a Tame Impala album because the guys that worked on them will work with Lana. In any case some experimentation with her sound won't hurt. Btw we are all probably reaching and the fact that they were together in a studio is something small or without relevance like more background vocals and stuff, idk. Maybe wait until Lana says something herself Like she also follows Kendrick and Pearl Jam and nothing ever came out with them.
  3. If she's going to experiment with her sound, including things from actual psychedelic stuff to a modern pop sound then I'm personally here for it.
  4. I love it. The guitar, the drum, the lyrics I mean, the chorus is pretty repetitive but it’s not a turnoff for me. It’s actually pretty hypnotic.
  5. I could see sounds like Hollywood coming back Butterflies Pt. 2, Go Go Dancer, Off to the Races, Serial Killer, Resistance and sounds like that are probably never coming back
  6. I love BAR because it’s perfect when I’m in a nostalgic mood you know? Personally I love everything but the bridge and the verses > the rest of the song. In my opinion the chorus could use some more production.

  8. Agreed with @Amadeus. Only TNC is folky. The rest of her acoustic stuff is that; acoustic, not folk.
  9. I see the pre-order in Apple Music and at least this dude had the decency of not putting (fT. LaNa DeL ReY)
  10. She's probably not following a single direction as always. She wouldn't go full folk or full pop because she always includes more styles. What I'm more curious about is what she'll be singing about next But now that we're at it I'd love AKA with a more futuristic vibe and production, like BAR. Idk I was really loving the retro + sci-fi concept one year ago
  11. Just more attention seeking lol. I reported them for spamming

  13. 1. Heroin 2. Get Free 3. Cherry BAR would be easily #4 or even #3 if it was released
  14. Because it's the Lust For Life - Post Release Thread where we discuss the songs on the album. It's meant for it. You can always ignore the thread just as I ignore the Charli XCX thread.
  15. Stevie's voice fits with the instrumentation and the style of the song, the thing is that her voice doesn't blend that well with Lana's. The filtered sound effect is cute in my opinion, but when Stevie comes in it sounds a little weird, they should've filtered her too, but it's not a complete turnoff. Overall the song is okay, I wouln't scrap it.
  16. Marry Charlie Fuck Chuck Kill Stella Marina Diamandis, Alex Turner, Miles Kane
  17. The name alone can't give clues of how the tracks sounds but I hope the production is kinda dark and a little futuristic, or maybe something more acoustic like A.K.A., same with Bartender. Idk these two names (Bartender and Sylvia) give me late-night city vibes in their names, I'd be really happy if they're a similar to Oh Say Can You See
  18. Banned for having more posts than me while having less time online
  19. Groupie Love is underrated. But then a lot of people really loved the instrumental (myself included).
  20. Marry Blake Fuck Alex Kill Ashley Rick Nowels, Dan Heath, Emile Haynie
  21. 5. High By the Beach 6. Freak 7. Art Deco 8. Burnt Norton (Fillerlude) 14. Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood
