loveyoumadly replied to Elle's topic in 2024 Performances
baby she's looks so nervous omg -
yes I meant may my bad and yeah I forgot about VB and mariners sorry but still I don't think we'll get HCO soon (I hope so but idk)
-
for Norman she released doin' time in march and the album dropped in august (3 month) and chemtrails had no promotional singles. For BB that's true we got BB, Arcadia, WW and Text Book between may and October but let's be honest BB promo was a mess and I don't she's gonna do that again...
-
tf going on here why would she release a single in February for an album set to drop in September ? Y'all

Grammy Awards 2024 - Lana Del Rey Nominated for 5 Awards
loveyoumadly replied to Elle's topic in Awards & Nominations
Y'all, Lana had literally no other choice than going on that stage. That's exactly why Taylor dragged her... she's the only other artist featured on Midnights. If she wasn't at the ceremony of course but not only was she there, she was sitting at the same table... That's not a question of wanting to go lol. Clearly she didn't want to, that's why she chose to stay apart. It must have been totally humiliating and that's so sad but it's absolutely not Taylor's doing, she was actually helping her and doing her a favor. -
Grammy Awards 2024 - Lana Del Rey Nominated for 5 Awards

Well actually she's getting a plaque or a certificate of the sort mailed to her... the disrespect I- I just watched the moment Taylor won AOTY and it's horrible Lana was so uncomfortable, she didn't want to go on stage at all and well, I can see why it's so humiliating. Even tho Taylor shouted out to her it's giving major CEO thanking her secretary vibes I'm so over it. I'm truly gagged but oh well. -
Grammy Awards 2024 - Lana Del Rey Nominated for 5 Awards

hey queen ! Where are you watching it from France ? -
I really really hope not. Just the fact that she listens to that horrible man is still thrilling in the worst way possible to me
-
I think she said she'll come to Poland too if that's near you. Not sure tho but I think I remember a video of a fan asking her and she said yes
-
If she comes back to France in 2024 I think she'll do Paris again and if there's a second show it'll probably be in Lyon which is the second city big artists usually go to when they tour in France
-
The name was confirmed on the vip necklaces Rob and the crew wore
-
Yeah wondering about that Provence show (since Provence is not a city)

Lana's strongest feature (Released & Unreleased)
loveyoumadly replied to Strangelove's topic in Lana Thoughts
Been listening to Ridin' a lot lately, and wanted to know what do you guys think is her best featuring. I'm sure there's already a thread here but couldn't find it ! My top 4 - Tomorrow Never Came - Ridin' - Peppers - Lust For Life -
guess she went back to MDMA lol I really love the new tracks I'm so excited for the record
-
but do you know anything about L4
-
I was not trying to create drama or generate such negative responses omg I literally wanted to share a thought anyway, guess we'll see
-
And also because the music industry worked very differently more than 10 years ago lol, It doesn't really mean anything now to have a n1 album, album sales are dead and gone tbh, what matters most is streams and she never had this much streams in her entire career
-
It took Summertime Sadness 10 Years to hit 500 millions stream and then 1 year to double that and hit 1 Billion. I'm sorry but that's delulu to say she's not more mainstream than she was when she dropped BTD. Also LFL was a commercial flop
-
I mean yeah but it's the same of every artist tho... I think she knows she's better than this institution and the point is not to win a grammy just for the flex but it could truly do wonders to her career and legacy
-
ya'll what ? since OB -and let's face it SYTH- was released she's one of most streamed female artist in the world on Spotify. In July she was second most streamed female artist and 9th overall. She has more monthly listeners than Beyoncé (53 millions for Lana and 52 for Bey). OB got amazing reviews (8.3 on pitchfork, 80 on Meta...) she truly is in her mainstream era, like it or not. I can see the change here in Europe, my friend group, social circle, they're all starting to listen to her music, she's appearing in big media here in France... I remember clearly the NFR era and it was nowhere near as mainstream.
-
I totally agree with both of you tbh BUT she's never been as much mainstream as she is now that's why I'm thinking she's def getting nominated and perhaps win, also I don"t think they're companying for best alternative but for AOTY, I mean she did get nominated for NFR and OB was as well received by critics and touched more public, it's more popular

I'm seeing more and more ppl saying this, considering Jon is a grammy sweetheart, could this finally be the year ?
