i can almost say with certainty that if the people voting for trump purely because he is trump did not vote, kamala would win by a LANDSLIDE. you would be shocked at the amount of people that vote for person, not party

i think this is the sort of thing i was gunning toward. i saw ALOT of this in our own (UK) general election, and alot of my own friends were basing their vote off of who had the best stance on palestine, ignoring nearly every single domestic issue the parties were promising on their manifestos. to me, it’s quite concerning that really important issues seem to be placed on the backburner and there is no prioritisation of deprived people in their own states (among other issues like abortion, wealth inequality, student debt, etc) . i don’t want this to come off as saying the issues in palestine are insignificant, as they most certainly are not, but splitting the vote is an extremely dangerous game and only helps trump. this election is globally significant, and it would be devastating to see another trump term which would be arguably worse for the palestinian people regardless
