7 Days, Fall In Fall Out, Breathe Out all called and said "of course!" - I really wish Charli would release XCX (World) to streaming. It is such a loss because her label wouldn't have to spend anything on promo and just upload the album and pay the collaborators... Why let these tracks sit on the internet in good quality for free?!

I wonder what Charli's evolution would have been like if she never linked up with SOPHIE and the PC Music crowd.

For me the hate for Sucker isn't because what was released. Actually, if she dropped Sucker without me knowing I would have been living for it. However, it's just the delays and the hype in my mind that I created based on descriptions, snippets, and live performances that totally did not meet my expectations. It is nowhere near a bad album, but it definitely did not live to the hype. I also think that the production on the album was a miss, and also it was released in a really weird time period... I definitely think that if Sucker was released in 2021, it would be a fully realized piece of art, but back in 2014 (esp. off of Boom Clap and Fancy's coattails) had this weird sort of gloss over it that sort of overpowered the sound it felt she was going for (which was like 2000s teen movie sound track which should have been equal parts glossy and equal parts angsty). Not a great year for pop music in general, and Charli suffered as a result of that. I was thinking earlier today about Break the Rules... It was stuck in my head. It definitely would be a discography highlight if the lyrics weren't a bit messy, lol.

Lyrics aside, London Queen is great, but also sounds like a demo. Imagine the Sucker album but produced by Jack Antonoff.

Maybe I'm delusional, but after Charli referencing Lanaboards recently, Umru constantly tweeting about LB, and the whole usage of LB/Reddit as promotional tools for HIFN, I'm really holding out hope that these leaks are all from Charli's team to build hype for the next album

Imagine in like 20 years Charli's no longer releasing music super often but instead just takes some sort of label executive role and lets the next generation of artists release all their punk albums and XCX Worlds <3

I have to wonder what the so-called selling out sound would be nowadays though. It seems like nothing's super trendy as of late. Yes, there's the throwback sort of style (Blinding Lights, Don't Start Now) but even that seems to be on a bit of a commercial decline (see Miley Cyrus's Midnight Sky). Right now it feels like TikTok is blowing up the most random songs each with different styles. I would love to see Charli be a mainstream artist again, but it's hard to imagine at this point in time what form that would take in 2021.

If she gives us Sucker (Punk Version) in 2021 I will gladly accept it
