  1. Do I think Ellen is meaner than her brand? For sure. Do I think she's abusive? No.She's probably mean, and isn't involved much in the shows production.I bet you she's only there when the show is live, and doesn't even talk to any of the workers, which while rude is perfectly acceptable

  2. omg I listened to it this morning while getting ready for work and it is amazing. I loved every track. She truly does get down to read beat poetry

i'm trying to buy it and i cant

i wanted to get it on audible and i couldnt

I had that trouble last night but it worked this morning. Sometimes kindle and Audible glitch a bit the first few hours of a release

    what is going on

    :defeated:

  3. ‘Levitating’ remixed by The Blessed Madonna featuring Madonna & Missy Elliott to be released August 14th -

August 14th is now Gay Christmas

  4. For some reason with her writing about the concept of a home, I thought of the U2 song “Walk On” because there is a line in there that says “home, hard to know what it is if you never had one.” But that’s just a favorite song on mine and I guess I was reminded of it.

Also on Born to Die Lana sings “ Can you make it feel like home if I tell you you're mine?”.

This concept of “home” is something that Lana desires because she has never had it. And since this poem is about LA, it’s important to note that LA has a big homeless population. Lana has a house, but maybe she has metaphorically always felt “homeless”.

And now I think of another line from another U2 song (Sometimes You can’t make it on Your Own) that says “A house doesn’t make a home. Don’t leave me here alone”.

Lana has so much inside of her. But damn, I do feel it too!

I get the feeling from this )speculation: take with a grain of salt) that she lacks the maternal love in her life , that through being nurtured and cared for, you take with you everywhere you go even after they pass. Lana says she's never had that, and I believe her. That makes it harder to feel at home no matter which mansion you buy. Unless you heal your emotions around that wound you take that feeling of unwelcome everywhere

  5. And shouldn’t we be talking about Lana being blonde again and maybe getting back to her Lizzy Grant roots? Maybe connecting with her Lake Placid roots??

People forget she is from a small town that hosted the Winter Olympics twice. I hope she does a concert at the Herb Brooks Arena one day.

I wanna know why Van Halen was banned from Lake Placid. Hit us up with a song about it, LIZZY

    Sean's a DILF ngl. I get it. I do

  6. This site's obsession about moralizing over who she can and cannot date is so overdone and tired at this point. Don't you all get tired of being "OH SO OUTRAGED" about the same thing for months now?

Like do we have to have the same conversation ON EVERY THREAD?

    Whose page?

Isn't it funny how when Lana mentioned this trip she named New Mexico, Arizona and Utah? Not Oklahoma? Yet she's been in Tulsa for almost a week.

I know plans change, but it's almost as if she didn't mention it because she's trying to hide a (very controversial) relationship or something.

    :coffee:

What, are you her MOm? Does she have to check in with you and tell her where she's going? And who's she's with?

  7. The business doesn’t work that way and no one would make that leap. Folk music is in style right now and people want that. NFR was very much folk-rock and that came out a year ago. This folk revival started with Lana last year actually.

I’m hoping she goes on Howard Stern to promote it. He does great interviews and would be thrilled to have her on.

I'd die if she did a Howard interview. He goes long and has a way of getting celebrities to admit things they'd never otherwise

  8. I just started the album and the 1 and cardigan aren’t anything special imo

the last great American dynasty ain’t threat great either the lyrics are weak and the instrumental goes NOWHERE

exile is easily the best song so far

I HOPE that cocc doesn’t sound like this album omg I hate the production

    invisible string is cute asf

mad woman is a MOOD I rlly like it

betty is my new fave it reminds me of old Taylor

hoax might be the best lyrically on the album

The album is cute imo maybe like a 5/10 ??? Idk it’s not up to par with the quality of her past albums imo

I swear I heard some southern accent on Betty
