His best album has arrived

I like that one song Sam did with Normani but other than that I think their whole artistry is kinda shit. Other than them being friends with people who cuss out women in the streets and call little girls kinky, which I’m not a big fan of, I also think their music AND whole visual package is just bad. It has nothing to do with them being fat and nonbinary. I respect them for being so openly queer but they’re really allergic to serving. Trying to emulate ballroom music dressed up as the devil in an ill-fitted corset… Terrible. Not everything that’s queer is good! Kinda sad to see cause they do have a lot of potential and not many that look like them get to the position they’re in. Also this whole reaction to this collab is pretty standard for any time Charli collabs with an artist that isn’t a general fav around here lmao. It has nothing to do with being fatphobic and internally homophobic or whatever. Y’all really love the buzzwords . Harry Styles is a skinny straight man and I also think his outfits are ugly! Is me not liking em churning the butter dresses he puts on just a result of my internal homophobia? Pop perfection, can't stop listening to it. Current favs are No FX, Lip Sync and the title track. Her best work hands down.

Meryl Streep isn’t out here writing all the scripts she’s acting out but she’s still a highly acclaimed actress… Why are we expecting artists to be writers? I get that artists not writing their self proclaimed highly introspective album isn’t the same as artists actually writing it, especially if it’s being marketed as a personal body of work, but why would anyone care that Britney isn’t out here writing songs like Toxic and BBOMT . Why don’t people give that same energy for artists that don’t produce their own songs? We expect artists to be writers but no one’s expecting them to be producers, when for pop music the production’s usually even more important than the lyrics. Sure it’s impressive, but not everyone can be Mariah Carey doing both, and not everyone has to be! It is annoying when artists claim to be writers when they aren’t though.
