50°C+ with no water for several hours is insane

Makeup and Starfucker kinda aren’t on par with the rest of the (very excellent) album. Perhaps it wouldn’t be that bad if the deluxe ends up not happening They’re not bad but the feature on Makeup brings the song quality down TBH (and it’s kinda weird to have 1 underwhelming feature on the tracklist while the rest of the album’s fully solo) and the title track’s flow is kinda clunky. James Dean goes off though.

I noticed Jack’s been really into that Midnights sound for his production recently. I hope that doesn’t leak into Lana’s music cause that sound’s already ageing badly.

Only listened to it once cause I’m nosey but I’m fine with it not leaking untagged if she’s gonna end up releasing it tbh. But with her track record we’ll probs get 90% of XCX6 in demo leaks before she announces it

Make You Mine sounds like a classic already. THIS is the sound she needs to bring for the next album

The way several songs on the physical copies are different than on streaming. Nice to meet you is solo, Bury me has an entire Kelela verse at the start and Feelings is a demo. I wish she kept the extra Kelela verse for streaming tbh I rlly like the back and forth on that version

So is Girl about Lorde? I mean she did say a lot of the album is about other women in the industry and who else does she get compared to cause she has the same hair and who else has been dodging attempts at collabing

She's one of those artists that really just gets it, and she keeps on getting better.

This album’s so perfect to me but my one complaint is the Central Cee verse . He wasn’t credited on the tracklist of the physical copies tho so I’m assuming they got a solo version on there (will be replacing the CC version with it)

I love the song, she’s giving me Exactly what I want from her. It does sound like it could’ve been on a Tame Impala album tbh, but that’s what I love about it. I really don’t get why people were expecting it to be avant garde and highly experimental though. Like, this is Dua Lipa she’s quite literally known for making clean polished palatable pop songs
